This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in during my trip to Europe. The hotel is in a good location, very close to the city centre and the train station. The hotel is like a noble palace, the public areas and rooms are very good, and the breakfast is good. What surprised me the most was that I arrived at the hotel at 10 o'clock in the morning, and I was able to stay in the room directly, which is very rare in Europe.

In order to go to Turin to watch the game, the price is reasonable, clean and hygienic, and the early room booked is also large. Just leave the PN train station. The hotel looks out from the railway station, but the soundproofing is very good. Go straight is the most prosperous commercial street, the subway at the door. Ho prenotato 2 notti in questo hotel per 183 euro, colazione inclusa. L'impatto appena arrivato non è stato molto positivo per alcune ragioni che provo a sintetizzare: - Reception: Appena arrivato, alla reception c'era un signore che mi ha solamente chiesto un documento e mi ha dato la chiave dicendo di scendere più tardi per riavere il documento. Non mi ha spiegato nulla sulla colazione e non ha aggiunto altro. La verità è che c'era il cambio turno, perché appena sceso c'era un'altra signora molto gentile che mi ha spiegato tutto sulla colazione e mi ha dato informazionituristiche. Non è stato un problema, ma non è molto professionale. - La stanza: La stanza era piccola, ma essendo da solo andava bene. Purtroppo però, era datata. C'erano lampade in tessuto ingiallite, muri riverniciati ma con un palese bisogno di ristrutturazione. La serratura della porta non funzionava bene. La manopola del lavandino si staccava se la si girava un po' di più. Il sapone in stanza era una micro boccetta più una bustina: mi è dovuto bastare per 2 notti ma per stare sicuri, consiglio di portarne un po'. Dotata di frigobar, anche questo vecchissimo è mezzo scassato, e di un climatizzatore che però non rinfrescava. - Colazione: La colazione viene servita nel seminterrato ed è continentale, devo dire abbastanza varia ma non sempre con prodotti freschi (come le albicocche sciroppate). Tutto sommato, la colazione è stato un fattore positivo. - Posizione: La posizione dell'hotel è a due passi a piedi dalla stazione di Porta Nuova, molto comoda anche per andare in centro a piedi. - Prezzo: come detto, 183 euro per due notti con colazione inclusa. Secondo me, considerando che la struttura è vecchia, il prezzo è un po' alto. Insomma, se cercate un punto di appoggio per un paio di notti va bene. Come viaggiatore solitario non avevo molte pretese. Certo però, il prezzo non corrisponde esattamente alla qualità della stanza e della struttura in generale. Per soggiorni più lunghi, onestamente, lo sconsiglio.

As you say, “many heads, many ideas.”... true, the rooms have old furniture and lack charm: a sin, because some wisdom would be enough to make them more attractive. But for us there are other things that have been very valuable and that I am going to list: excellent location, accurate cleaning, very kind staff, sufficiently large and sufficiently illuminated room, modern and functional bathroom, comfortable beds, bedwear and handwheels (renewed every day) of good quality and unfair quality. A freezer supplied daily would be preferable, I fear that the choice of leaving it empty is to be attributed to unsuccessful or smart customers... In my view, the only absence recorded is that of some hooks or wall attackers.

Excellent hotel with super central location and nice rooms. Also the breakfast is very rich and tasty, better than some 5 star hotels in turin. The breakfast also features local specialities which you won't get at other hotels in turin. In addition the staff is extremely friendly, especially the woman at the reception. I would definitely come again.

Room: -/+ Very firm bed, could be an issue if you’re a side sleeper - loud noises from outside street, if you’re staying at a time of year when the windows can remain closed I think the noise would be less of an issue -I do not usually comment on room décor. In this case I found the décor off putting. My room had a very large round sticker of flowers. Wall paper trim was cheap looking and peeling off. No paintings or art on walls…just the large gaudy flower sticker (see photo). +refrigerator in room. -no kettle or coffee/ tea in room -room was entered when I was out, I did not want service, and privacy is important to me, I looked for a “do not disturb sign” so that someone wouldn’t enter but I couldn’t find one. +excellent water pressure in the shower + large spacious room -Room was very warm, had to have window open as AC not working this time of year, this lead to poor sleep due to noise from street. Breakfast: -overall below average -poor quality examples: hard boiled eggs were impossible to peel, you make your coffee from a machine, I did not like the taste of it, the scrambled eggs were bad, as was the sausage, breads and cakes seemed to be prepackaged from a grocery store -teeny tiny useless napkins at table +I appreciated the nice selection of nuts and seeds +Good location for my needs

Just a few minutes walk from the station, a bit outside of the city center. Located on a quiet street, it is very safe to walk here. Beside it is a convenience store that also closes late so that was very helpful. Rooms are a bit old but clean. Walls are thin so you can here the outside and other rooms quite a bit, it didnt bother me as much however. The bathroom size was just enough, with towels, soaps and plastic cups for you to use. It also has a fridge, bottle opener and a safe if youd like those. All in all, it was worth the price and was helpful during the trip. One more thing, the keys are the old style, so when you leave, you have to leave the keys at the front desk. When you come back, someone will give you back the keys.
