I stayed about a week at this charming Pousada, over New Year's with a group of friends. The location is great, a 10-minute walk from Trancoso's famous main square, Quadrado, and from the beach. From helping organize yoga classes, to booking massages, or helping you get tickets to a sold-out party, the staff at Mata Nativa goes above and beyond for the guests. Irina, the owner, will make sure your experience is excellent, serving as the concierge any luxury hotel wishes they had!

We had and amazing experience. People are very kind. You can get a kayak and row across the river until get to the beach of nativos, it was very fun and beautiful. The food is very good on the breakfast and also the restaurant. The rooms are very well decorated, clean and very pleasant. The pool area is very nice, and the ambient is surrounded by trees, what gives you a real connection with nature. It is very well located, very close to Quadrado, and also to the beach. You can reach both on foot quickly, so its very good, because the minimum fare of taxi is R$ 30. Please follow us on instagram:@mapamunditravel

La posada es excelente en todos los sentidos. Irina, la dueña esta permanentemente en todos los detalles. La cocinera prepara ricas cenas y almuerzos! Un 100!! Limpieza un 100 tambien. Ricky un ayudante de lujo para darte todo lo q necesites para pasarla bien! Lugar increible, naturaleza, lugar de paz y tranquilidad Recomiendo con certeza....

Pousada com piscina deliciosa e boa limpeza dos quartos. Itens negativos: roupas de cama e toalhas manchadas, café da manhã bom,mas não sai omelete, o pior ponto foi a localização. Esta é relativamente perto , mas difícil/ quase impossível se ser feito o trajeto a pé para o Quadrado e as praias, com ladeira enorme e estrada de chão. Optamos em pagar o transfer do hotel pra sairmos à noite. Não voltaria por esse último motivo.
