Good Location. Hotel design is unique. Clean. No noise, So there will be no problem for sleeping. But they only provide ( toothpaste & brush, towel). So, you should bring your things with you. Overall as a capsule Hotel(8/10)

The check in was quick and easy since it was being done over Skype. The guy on the other side was not that friendly since I don't speak Japanese. The interior design is good. It felt like you were walking into a library 😉✌️

When you arrive you should read the rulebook, fill out the form (name, age etc.) and use the tablet to call the check in service via video call. Attendant spoke excellent English and will explain the PIN code system and rules further. Location is easily walkable from akihabara station. Good for those looking for simple accommodations or wish to read (mainly Japanese only) manga in the evening.

Lots of shortcomings, I don't recommend it. Far from the metro station, there is practically nothing interesting nearby. The room is dirty, guests wear street shoes to the bed. There is no drinking water in the hostel, the equipment in the shower is broken. I asked for a lower bed, but they gave me an upper one. I know that satisfaction of the request is not guaranteed, but for all 3 nights that I lived there, the lower beds were empty. The manga in the women's room seemed uninteresting to me, mostly romance novels, only a couple of adventures like Kimetsu no yaiba and Boku no hero academia. Apparently, this kind of manga is considered more masculine. The sitting area is right in front of the guest's bed, which seems awkward. The check-in process via Skype is purely formal; there are no staff in the hostel; to ask anything you need to write to them by email - it’s not convenient. The hostel did not justify its price.

First of all, it was nice because it was clean and had a lot of comics, but there weren’t too many amenities… I stayed for 2 nights, but they only gave me one towel, which was inconvenient. Other than that, I was satisfied overall. ☺️

You can read Japanese comics in their original text! It was a bit difficult to highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who was not familiar with it. The structure is a little different from a typical capsule hotel, and above all, there is not enough space to safely store luggage. The door to the accommodation itself has a door lock, but as the interior of the accommodation is a space where up to 10 guests can stay together, the issue of safety ultimately depends on the guests using it together. The location is also on the 4th or 5th floor of a building with another store on the 1st floor, so when you first visit, you may wonder, 'Is this the right building?' You may be thinking: Also, check-in is done via Skype, but if you are not confident in both Japanese and English, check-in may be quite difficult. On the day I visited, none of the Japanese-speaking staff were Japanese. I stayed here after looking for accommodations near Akihabara, and although it is a bit far from Akihabara, I recommend it if you are thinking, ‘I’m in Akihabara, so I want to have a special experience!’

I'm glad there are so many comics. However, it is also true that there are only manga. If you think of manga only as an afterthought, you might want to stop.
