The village is very large, the greenery is well-kept, the swimming pools are very beautiful, the food is good, except for the breakfast tarts. However, the pool area needs more attention when it comes to hygiene... the foot-washing area, for example, does not it is never cleaned and the water that stagnates in it is green. The accommodation units are beautiful.. but the beds are not very comfortable.. sleeping on a sofa bed in a 4 star hotel.. is shameful. And finally the worst note of the stay..600 meters on foot under the sun and with very high temperatures, to reach the beach. Equip yourself with a shuttle or a train that takes people to the beach if you want guests to return to you.

The resort is situated in a very good and scenic location. Service and food is excellent. The animation team at the resort were the cherry on the cake. Amazing team, positive and they make you feel at home! Kudos to Mirko, Noemi, Pietro & Carol for their overwhelming positive and content attitude. Highly recommend it.

Hotel was nice, I only wish there was WiFi in the room and a phone to call reception. The DJ at night was great. The food was good. The customer service was great. The parking was a bit confusing. This location is close to the beach and many other cities.

I have to say we were a little nervous after reading the reviews. But I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The food is amazing and definately traditional Italian food and not tailored for the the tourist. (this is a good thing) A special thank you to Salvatore who is a great barman and as we would say in England a proper top bloke. Thank you to all at Club esse Sunbeach. Its a Caio for now but we will definately be back for more.

I was in this village with my son and friends in July.. very nice place, large and well looked after. there are two large swimming pools, one for relaxation and one with entertainment.. I have never been there because I love the sea so much and it is really beautiful here ..excellent location, crystal clear water..The restaurant offered everything and more for every meal..both after lunch and dinner we were a bit quiet on the terrace where we listened to live music. The entertainment guys were all very good and not intrusive, the village chief was always present then in the evening he made us have fun and dance in the theater. overall we had a very good time... thank you

The 2 unpleasant surprises at the beginning were one room, out of two booked, with a bathroom for disabled people (without a bidet - it doesn't fit in a 4-star hotel) which they didn't change and the request for a hefty payment for the club card (270 euros in 3 with tourist tax). Considering that you arrive having already paid handsomely for everything, I expected a more symbolic cost. Meal time is always too stressful, noisy and chaotic with dishes constantly banging. The buffet is very rich, but the quality, especially of the first courses, flavorless with bland sauces, leaves something to be desired. Poor wines. However, the lasagna and spaghettoni with Calabrian ragù are very good. Another sore point: there is no bus to go and visit Squillace alta, so they offer excursions at overpriced prices. They prohibit taking water with bottles from the dispensers. It's a shame that there is a disproportionate use of plastic cups which certainly doesn't benefit the environment. Positive notes: Stunning sea, helpful staff, really large and beautiful village, excellent walk to the beach, fantastic water aerobics with Nicoletta, some really enjoyable evening shows (the head entertainer is a very good professional), beautiful relaxation pool and comfortable room with small terrace , comfortable mattresses. Ultimately it's worth a decent three stars overall.

We changed the room because the bathroom was flooding and in the end even in the second room it flooded if you weren't careful because the sealing of the doors wasn't done well... on the last day the shower pipe got a hole. Broken wall tiles. Cracks on the wall above the bed. The floor of the relaxation pool was full of air bubbles. Both pools were dirty and in fact the lifeguards were constantly cleaning it giving us the feeling of being dirty when instead a 4 star hotel could afford a robot to clean it. The beach is beautiful but from the photos it was clear that it was all sand but in reality it is all stones and it is dangerous for people like me who have leg problems. In fact I was only able to go there once. The food was not of high quality, the pasta was often all glued together, the second courses were not of high quality but passable. The TVs are of the old generation, it seems silly but for those who spend a week or two in a village at a certain point they like the smart TV, especially if there are only 30 channels of which only about ten are interesting. The entertainment shows very old programmes, the DJ does not follow the evening carefully; Grease was a fiasco in terms of sound... the kids' sketches about the mafia didn't make sense, so much so that they had to call for applause... young and willing kids for goodness sake but follow them well otherwise they'll be disappointed if the audience doesn't laugh. The piano bar always played old songs and maybe one or two that were a little recent, I understand the target age but this marginalizes the young. All inclusive very limited. You don't call it all inclusive if you limit yourself a lot. The drinks were watered down, so much so that the Coca Cola was only water and sugar, the coffee cream was paid for when all the other establishments offer it to you, only 3 types of fruit juices and not even those that children like like peach and apricot but only ace, blood orange and pineapple, ice creams if you wanted to buy them out of 40 types there were only 10 available and they didn't stock up. The machines in the restaurant area had terrible coffee and when we pointed this out at the bar, the employees replied that it has been known for a long time and that everyone always complains about it but that the structure does nothing to change. Who knows how much my review of the property can help if no one lifts a finger about something as basic as the coffee machine... One good thing was the cleaning lady, Maria Teresa. A unique gem of kindness and helpfulness. The staff in general is also very courteous and helpful, ready to help immediately. In the end my stay was just for relaxation and not wanting to have fun and do activities, not being able to participate due to physical problems, but I heard from many people that the activities were not many and not even well followed. I hope it's the opposite as a resort should take care of its guests by entertaining them properly. In short, I rate 6.5 out of 10, for the super friendly staff but not the structure

I am already familiar with a village, I have already been there 2 times and having had holidays last time I preferred to be on the safe side (I was deluded). Let's start: the well-equipped and tidy lido, I always found a place unlike other years but then I realized that it was due to the fact that it wasn't full... very nice structure but not well looked after and dated, the swimming pools were beautiful from afar... the dirty and old rooms I was in the 300 there was a smell of pee that didn't go away even with deodorant.. in the morning around 6 I got out of bed because I was tired of the springs in my back, I went out of the room in search of fresh air but I found myself breathing the smell of sewage. The dining room staff is not up to par except for a few, the food is from the canteen and is continuously recycled. Were there lifeguards????? Boo because if they were there they were on holiday too. The kids are certainly committed to entertainment but it's not really their job. Congratulations to Sasa, the piano bar singer who did his best to revive the audience of disappointed guests. A piece of advice if I may to Paco, constantly repeating that all inclusive is timed and if we want there are aperitifs on offer, discounted crepes etc. It's not effective, in fact it's really unprofessional. For me the club esse sun beach resort is a closed parenthesis!
