In my view, Ritz Tianjin is the branch with the highest service level. ( i visited Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing financial street and Beijing Huamao centre so far) 1. 3 days before arrival - The branch called me to confirm the number of visitors (couple + 7 month old); and the purpose of visit (wedding anniversary) 2. Upon arrival - We were greeted by friendly staffs whom helped us with our 3 luggages and they did it with a smile 3 Miss Freya Luo lead us to the check in and was explaining the restaurants and facilities of the branch 4. During stay, our garbage and room was cleaned up no less than 2 times a day (we only stayed 2 days) 5. Miss Freya, also helped us to arrange parcels (mainly infant diapers and napkins) to be sent to the hotel 6. The exterior of the hotel resembles a castle and its truly special The hotel is merely a room; the service provided by each of the staffs here makes this experience truly memorable Thanks again Freya!

The Shangri-La, Tianjin, is, and has always been our favorite Hotel to visit. This week was a special celebration for us, as we celebrated our 15th Wedding anniversary, as well as our 4th consecutive year in China. We relocated to another City / Province, about two years ago, and was unable to visit and enjoy our special Shangri-La. Prior to us moving from Tianjin, we used to celebrate all our special occasions and milestones, at this branch of Shangri-La. We would always spend our Christmas, New Years, and Chinese New Year's at Shangri-La. Now that we have returned to Heibei, we look forward to continuing this tradition. Things change over time, some familiar faces are no longer working there. However, the new team made us feel right at home again, and went out of their way to make our stay most memorable and special. As I mentioned to one of the team members, it's not the spectacular Lobby Lounge, nor the beautifully decorated features, that make the establishment, but rather the people. Without quality staff and superior service, no establishment can ever rely on reoccurring business. For as long as these values are in place, this Shangri-La can be certain of our patronage. All team members provided excellent service, from the bellhop, to the waitresses, from the front of house to the housekeeping and of course the management team. Special thanks to ”Francis”, the new General Manager, ”Danny”, the Food and Beverage Director, as well as ”Billy”, the ”Food and Beverage” Manager. This trio of Management, ensured that we received the best service possible. Lastly, we would like to thank ”Roger” whom assisted us with a Driver / Transportation, upon our early departure. No visit to Tianjin, would ever truly be complete, with visiting The Shangri-La. See you soon.

I really liked the location suitable for any foreigner. Rooms were small but comfortable as i was a solo traveller. There is just one negative thing about the hotel is they don’t have a parking space (you have to park in some mall parking nearby there are so many) and besides the hotel was so middle of the hub still they don’t have any english speaking at the reception.

The room was called after I swiped in the card. I didn’t need to insert the card. The room was pretty clean. The toilet and shower are separated into two compartments, which do not affect each other. It seems like a passage outside the window, not the street view outside, which is a bit embarrassing😂. The location is not bad, behind the Hang Lung Plaza, it is very convenient to the commercial street and where we are going. The front desk service was not bad, I was very busy and helped us to photocopy the materials, and gave us a bottle of water when we checked out.

I really appreciate the very strategic location, it's just few hundred metres away from many famous attractions, such as little Italy. Or if you're looking for halal food, there are many muslim restaurants too. It's also very near to station too, the hotel's room is on 37 to 51 fl, really help with the magnificent views. Staffs are friendly, room's clean, nothing to complain about. I strongly recommend this hotel, as myself would definitely go back here.

We tried Chen Ji Chuan Chuan hotpot in the cold weather was Shiok! Hotel entrance turn left walk straight will reach Jie Fang Bridge, where you can see the iconic “I love Tianjin” rainbow building. Beautiful river at night!

Thanks to Tianjin's preferential policy for the Begonia Season, I was able to stay in a room with a very high cost-effectiveness.
