This was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. We booked a two bedroom suite for our family of 6 (small kids) but arrived and they only had a single bed room at the adjacent Courtyard hotel. They were not responsive to calls requesting a different room. They finally called back after the kids fell asleep but my son and I had to sleep on the floor.

The pool could have been cleaner. It appeared to not have been vacuumed as there were many leaves congregated on the bottom.

My first night, the night club across the street kept me awake past 1am. I requested and received a new room the next morning.
Not a lot of restaurants within walking distance. Convenient to RiverWalk and the Tampa Rowing boathouse.

Though the staff was friendly and accommodating, the room service was horrible. The Room was not serviced as scheduled until we complained (other guests also complained about the lack service). Towels provided were not enough and there were no sheets in the room for the sofa sleeper. And one of the elevators was out of service.

The first room we were given had a broken air con system and would not heat up.
We were then recommended a taxi firm for a transfer to the cruise terminal and were charged 80 dollars for a 3 mile trip. We felt as if we were ripped off.

Front desk personnel was very nice and accommodating; however breakfast area is too small, breakfast quality not so good, and ladies who served breakfast were rude. The hotel itself was ok.

Great staff, comfortable room, pool okay, but hotel location is noisy. Room on street side, traffic all night. Many vehicles here have noisy exhausts and they let everyone know it, all night long.

The guest services rep was very friendly and welcoming. The room was ok, but needs updating. The toilet would not flush properly and actually overflowed a few times. I would have to say that the worst part was the noise. The A/C unit was extremely loud. The shower head was continuously dripping onto the faucet below causing an annoying sound that we couldn’t stop. The noise from the traffic was almost unbearable. Very loud cars racing down the street at all hours of the night, made it very difficult to sleep. I understand that the hotel staff cannot control the traffic, but if you are a light sleeper, this is something you need to be aware of before booking. We were only there for one night, so we didn’t complain, but will probably choose a different place next time.
