RedDot Hotel

A very beautiful hotel with excellent front desk service. They kindly offered a free room upgrade. The room was very clean, and all the amenities had the hotel's logo, which was a nice touch.

This hotel has a great American retro vibe. Both the hotel and the rooms are super new, and the breakfast is delicious 😋. The staff are all very friendly, and the hygiene is excellent. The location is also very convenient, close to tourist attractions, and there's a night market nearby! You can't go wrong or get ripped off here. It's just that the price was a bit inflated when I booked it.

The breakfast was really good and delicious! The location is quite convenient, right in the city center, and it even has an attached parking lot, though you have to drive a short distance to get to it. The room lighting was a bit dim.

I absolutely love the minimalist design style of Red Dot. After checking in on a very, very tired and uncomfortable night, I was able to rest so comfortably. The room had everything I needed and was very clean. It's a place I felt a little sad to leave, wishing I could have stayed longer. I look forward to the chance to visit again in the future.

Great concept! Taichung is perfect for a leisurely stroll, just wandering through its streets. The room was alright, nothing special but perfectly fine, and breakfast was decent too.

We chose this hotel because we saw a picture of a slide in the lobby for kids to play on. However, upon arrival, we realized it's not really a family-friendly hotel. The soundproofing is terrible. On July 27th, during check-out, my child and a few other children wanted to play on the slide again. Kids being kids, their laughter got a bit loud for a moment – it wasn't constant screaming, and the adults quickly intervened. But one particular staff member at the front desk that morning rolled their eyes multiple times. If this hotel can't tolerate the sound of children playing, then they shouldn't use a slide as a selling point for a family-friendly hotel, or they should just close the facility down! That front desk staff member's attitude alone is why I will absolutely never choose this hotel again!

I felt so relaxed staying at the Red Dot Hotel in Taichung this time. The room was clean and bright, and the exterior design was really unique, perfect for an Instagrammer like me to take photos, haha! The front desk staff were also very friendly. And the best part? The breakfast was absolutely stunning! Not only beautiful but also delicious. Although the meal combinations were fixed, which was a minor drawback as there weren't many choices, the overall experience was excellent.

The room was unexpectedly clean with great design details – simple yet stylish, and that iconic big slide was a fun touch. It was a pleasant stay, I'd recommend it to friends, and I'd definitely stay here again in the future.
