Park Hyatt Suzhou

Suzhou Industrial Park
It was our second time back at Park Hyatt and it did not disappoint. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and we were warmly greeted at the front. While we were finalizing our check in, the staff took our bags and set it up in our rooms. We tried the breakfast for the first time (complimentary) and it was amazing. Their selection is too class and they designed it so that food is not wasted. We also went to the swimming pool and it was a great time. They think of everything. Like always, everyone greeted us whenever we were in the main halls. This hotel will always be my to-go. Huge thank you to William at the front desk and Naomi in the dining hall.
Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou

This is my first Four Seasons hotel and it left a very good impression on me. Thank you very much to Miss July at the front desk! Helped me check in, gave me a small gift and canvas bag, and upgraded my room type! ! He took the initiative to add me on WeChat to help me recommend local Subang cuisine and introduce me to hotel activities. He was very enthusiastic and made me feel very warm. The view from the room is great! ! ! The room has a small balcony. When you open the balcony door, you can see the Niccolo Hotel opposite and the island outside. The view is wide, the lake is far away, and the mood is comfortable. It is perfect for vacation and relaxation. Sitting on the balcony drinking and looking at the other side of the lake, the lights at night are also very beautiful. Thanks again to July for helping me with the upgrade! It's a pity that I came alone hahaha There is also a water-to-sky terrace on the fifth floor, where you can sit and relax. It connects the east and west wing rooms, enjoy the scenery, and chat casually. I think it will be great. It is a very good design. I borrowed the hotel's bicycle to ride around the lake, and I was able to have an overview of the environment around the hotel. The water flow and greening design was very professional, and I liked it very much. You can see the Eastern Gate very clearly from the outdoor swimming pool, but it is a pity that it is not open this season. I took a few quick photos and continued riding. I also saw a place for pets to play around. Most of the service staff in the hotel will take the initiative to say hello, and when checking out, they will also take the initiative to remind me not to forget my ID, wallet and other things. I chose Four Seasons at that time because of its location and environment. I was not disappointed. Coupled with the service, it was a very satisfying stay! Will come again! I still want to stay in that room😝😝😝

We were pleasantly surprised by the location of this hotel. We got upgraded to the most amazing room. The hotel staff were friendly and professional, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. It was close to a subway and a lot of restaurants down the road. I highly recommend this hotel.
Jinji Lake Grand Hotel

We checked in quite late in the evening but we're greeted with many smiling faces. The room is lovely with a fantastic bathroom. Plenty of free water... The facilities at this hotel are fantastic, lovely big swimming pool, the jacquzi water smelt a little maybe cool do with a clean... The sauna in the changing room was great! We also used their table tennis room and snooker room which we. loved. The breKfast is also very good. We extended our stay by one night and was a delightful stay. only one complaint as such, we used the rental bike by the hotel and rode just outside to the waterfall by the main road. A man on a bike came to us telling us to wear our masks and to get back closer to the hotel... Nobody explained the rules to us and could be language barrier. But I didn't appreciate the man's tone of voice telling us to wear our masks. Nobody was near us and we were exercising we don't have to wear it!
Pan Pacific Suzhou

Guanqian Street Area (Downtown)
The free hanfu experience was disappointing. There was no enthusiasm or any attempt to promote the services. Initially I was keen on the add-on make-up experience but did not have the confidence to take it up seeing the lack of motivation from the service staff, who were busy on their phones most of the time. We had breakfast at the Rui noodle house. The food was so-so compared to everything else we tried in Suzhou. However i am rating Pan Pacific 5 stars as the above are not directly controlled (I assume) by the hotel. The hotel’s service staff were warm and helpful. They arranged for a room with a fantastic view of the Panmen Scenic Area. Also, we received a surprise dessert/birthday treat in the room with a sweet note. Derrick at the front desk was especially helpful and proactive with solving a payment issue we had with food delivery and arranging for late checkout. Thank you! We also appreciate the tickets and access to the Panmen area. It was super lovely to enjoy all it had to offer at a leisurely pace without the crowds at some other scenic areas. All in all a wonderful stay and we would be most confident to recommend Pan Pacific Suzhou to family and friends.
Tongli Lake View Hotel

Outside Tongli Ancient Town
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with our 10 month old during Golden Week. Pros: - Hotel is self-contained and there is no need to leave the hotel. There are large and well-maintained grounds for our daily walks with baby, including museums and traditional pagodas dotted throughout the property. There is a chinese, western (steak, pizza) and japanese (teppanyaki) restaurant within the hotel. There is also a kids play room and swimming pool, along with some other kid friendly activities like rabbit feeding and games on the lawn. - The hotel is right next to the lake and is quite beautiful. It's very relaxing to stroll along the lake. - There is an ancient town about 15 minutes walk from the hotel's main lobby. There is a free hotel shuttle to and from the ancient town too. - Staff are generally friendly and helpful - Large, family-friendly rooms are available. We stayed in a lake view suite, which was just right for us and our baby. - Hotel is affordable by international standards - Hotel is less than 2 hours drive from Shanghai, where we live - We particularly enjoyed the teppenyaki restaurant where you can get a private room and a private chef to cook your meals - Despite it being Golden Week, we didn't feel that the hotel was too crowded. Perhaps because the hotel has large grounds. Cons - The baby cot given to us had an extremely thin and uncomfortable mattress. To compensate, we were given a comforter to pad the mattress. However, this is unsafe for younger babies, who should sleep on a firm surface. - The property and facilities are a bit dated - There were very loud weddings on the lawn facing the lake each day that we were at the hotel. The loud music and emceeing disturbed the peaceful ambience of the place, and also disrupted baby's morning and afternoon naps. For families with children who still need to nap in the day, it may be better to stay in a quieter garden view room instead of a room facing the lake.
