I often live in smart choices on business trips. The newly opened one has a larger room than most smart choices. It may be that the newly opened room has been upgraded. The view is good. This ”Atour Hotel” is located in Luxu/Wuhu area, Wujiang District, Suzhou. In Musen International Plaza, there are restaurants in the square, and the parking lot is in the middle (free of charge). The hotel lobby is very stylish, in addition to the faint fragrance, there is a strong book atmosphere. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, the bath water was large, and the wifi was fast. The only regret is that the central air conditioner has not been turned on. People like me who are afraid of heat will feel a little stuffy in the room. Across the road is a beautiful big lake.

The staff at the Wyndham was very nice. The breakfast food was quite good, and our room was spacious and clean. The beds were super comfortable. The hotel is on a nice lake with good views and walking or biking paths. The hotel has tandem bikes available to borrow. Other than the lake, there aren't a lot of options of things to do in the area, so come only if you're looking for a quiet getaway. There are some good Chinese restaurants nearby. The swimming pool is very, very cold. They should consider heating the pool, our kids were hoping to do a lot of swimming but couldn't stand being in the pool for very long. There was also some noise each night we were there--families being noisy in the hallway or music playing (not sure if it was from the street or from an event at the hotel). It got quiet each night by 9:30pm. Lastly, the rooms have several lights that come on with a motion sensor around the entryway and bathroom. This sounds like a nice idea but it is terrible for those who actually sleep in the room. Every time someone gets up at night to go to the bathroom, the lights go on--very annoying.

If you live in the dock for breakfast, you need to walk to Xishi Restaurant, which is a bit inconvenient. ☕️Cooking tea around the stove is at the Metasequoia restaurant. The low-end version 268 has black tea, rice cakes, jujubes, peanuts, longan, oranges, fruit plates and cake platters, and the high-end version 588 has multiple cake towers.
