I booked at Sunway pyramid hotel but was upgraded to Sunway Resort hotel. The room itself is comfortable with a king bed. The thing I didn’t like was that the shower corner was separated by 2 side curtains and not by glass. I feel that from a 5* hotel it is not so “chic”

Strategies location with nice foods n restaurants inside the mall. Unit is located at different block, (once block got different operators/ residence) that's no direct lift to lobby, have to transfer lift if carry trolley luggages.

No in house pool have to walk to Sunway Lagoon Hotel 15min to swim. Breakfast at Sunway Resort restaurant. If you bringing kids I suggest you to stay at Sunway Resort. Overall I will come back and book Sunway Resort.

I had been stay in a sunway primary hotel many times , The location is good and in shopping mall. And the breakfast it's a lots of choices.

Very disappointed with the whole hotel check-in arrangement.
During check-in, we were told that our room is affected by a pipe burst and hence they have arranged another room for us at Sunway Lagoon hotel which is one grade below Sunway Pyramid. When asked if there are other rooms available even if it means an upgrade we are happy to top up the difference as we have another family friend who is staying in the same hotel. The response we got was no due to the hotel being fully booked.
Couple of minutes later, the hotel staff told us she managed to find a one and only Studio balcony room for us and we did not have to top up any $.
Again, she went on to process the documentation, returned our passports and the next moment she said “Sorry Sir, we have gotten you a room type then you have booked for and here’s the keys (card)”
I was like “and what happened to the Balcony studio that you offered me earlier?”
“Oh because we managed to find another room that is similar to the room specs that you booked for online”
I argued with her for the next minute, but those were history….. never am I gonna stay in this poor managed hotel again!

I book Sunway Pyramid Hotel but upon check in told me was full and ask me go to Sunway lagoon hotel, they have arranged room for me. But I have been queue for 20 minutes and didn’t receive any email before. Not happy with this.

We're loyal customers of Sunway Hotel, always choosing to stay here when we're in town. However, our recent experience with breakfast was disappointing. Having to wait for the lift to access the breakfast area at Sunway Resort, only to face long queues, was frustrating. On our second day, the wait was so excessive that we opted to dine elsewhere. We suggest the management consider separating breakfast services for the two hotels to improve the guest experience. Currently, the combined breakfast service is inconvenient for guests from both hotels, particularly those at the resort side who face restricted lift access due to the volume of guests from the Pyramid side. Hoping to see improvements on our next visit.

we had comfortable stay . hotel is connected to sunway resort hotel and the mal . plenty of restaurants within stone's throw . only issue was the room's air con could not be adjusted and was a little too cold for us .
