Hampton Inn & Suites Stuart-North

The check in front desk clerk (Jill) was not very friendly. I asked her if It was possible to get a king room and she frowned and was like no, then gave my co worker a king room. She acted as if we were getting free rooms, when my company is paying well for us to stay at the hotel. The hotel is on the old style and my bathroom was not as clean as it should have been, there was hair in the tub and they only clean the rooms on the 5th day of your stay so these rooms should be spotless. The Tissue box in my bathroom was also empty. My co workers said that the Hilton Suites 2 was much better, but they were full so my company had to book us here. The morning front desk crew were all very friendly and accommodating. I have stayed at other Hampton Inns but this one was just mediocre. The breakfast wasn't that good either, the bacon was actually burnt, so you picked it up and besides being black it cracked because it was crispy burnt. Hampton Inn in Stuart needs to upgrade and do better.

The room is OK, but nothing special. The ”You Can't Say We Didn't Have One Breakfast Buffet” was a big disappointment. Ice cold hard boiled eggs, dry cereal, instant oatmeal, yogurt, apples(no bananas), mini muffins, granola bars and cheap white bread for toast are the high lights. Coffee service is better in your room and the OJ was acidic, so I am glad I took my antacid. The TV channels consist of 20 Latino channels and 52 Music Choice channels. There doesn't seem to be a channel selection guide either printed or on screen and the Up channel button doesn't work, so you just have to jump through channels and hope you get lucky. The room was clean and the a/c-heat worked fine. There was an alarm clock, but plugging it in seemed to be a problem, so I didn't bother. The table lamps were dirty and could use an upgrade to the ones with usb ports and 110v outlets. There is a plug strip on the desk, but it's almost full and ugly. In short, I have done worse, but I have also paid less.

The hotel is very new and the service attitude is very good, but in this small place, I feel that the price is a bit high. It is because our car burst on the highway, and I can go to this hotel for one night.

It was very loud. Other customers were right outside our door just talking real loud. Could hear the airplanes ✈ taking off. Room was decent. Bathroom really small no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The traffic was crazy in the early mornings. Weather was great!!
