This was my second visit at Northridge Inn and I highly recommend it. My first time was glamping and this time we stayed in the vintage airstream , which I adored. Stephane and David are wonderful and make you feel at home. Relaxing atmosphere and an amazing time always. Miss it already....See you guys again soon!! ~ Jenn

This resort stands out for its unique decor. There are touches of beauty everywhere, inside and out. It has a quiet, serene setting with a clean beach and manicured grounds. We enjoyed the campfire, the hot tub (with cocktails), and eating on the terrace with its lake view. The restaurant has a very enticing menu and it was hard to decide what to eat. The food was generally excellent but some dishes needed more seasoning. The cocktails are also excellent. Our server Matt was very friendly and attentive just as were all the other staff, including Nancy, the housekeeping manager who actually gave us a tour of the resort last year as they were winding down for the season. Our spacious room (#14) had a very comfortable bed with soft feather pillows. The towels are extra soft. On the negative side: It rained during our stay but we could not read in our room, the lamps were too dim. Also, we did not have a table so we could not play games while it was raining. We however loved the place and will come back. We'll rent one of their 2-bedroom cottages with friends next time. We toured one and loved it.

Management rude and unprofessional. We booked lakefront view but got a tiny window view. Room smells muggy, washroom is extremely small, air conditioning is very loud. Don’t bother to book early because they don’t even put that into consideration, they squeezed you into a tiny room in a corner next to the main lobby. Overall, terrible experience.

Outstanding experience! Rustic but absolutely beautiful Inn. Amazing staff and attention to customer service was over the top. Lake views and amenities are perfect for so many different groups of visitors. Have already recommended it many people! Special shout out to Matt, he is a great asset to Northridge!

WOW! I rarely write reviews but my recent visit to Northridge far exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in the door the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly! Carol checked us in at the front desk (with a smile) and then proceeded to show us around the resort and explain all of the amenities. The property itself is stunning and the accommodations had everything we needed and more. Our dinner experience was amazing from beginning to end, and it felt like fine dining but in a beautiful Muskoka atmosphere (a bunny kept walking by on the outdoor dining deck, which by the way had an amazing view of the lake). We were served by Matt who was super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I had the stuffed chicken thigh (delicious) but I also tried the burger my son ordered and was hands down the best I’ve ever had! And the focaccia bread to start was out of this world delicious! As impressive as dinner was, the room service breakfast in the morning was not only stunningly presented, but delicious (if nothing else, you MUST try the cinnamon rolls and banana bread)!! I can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was. My parents were visiting from out of province and it was one of the best experiences they’ve ever had in all of their years visiting Ontario. Well done and kudos to the staff at Northridge!

My partner and I attended our nieces wedding on Saturday July 2nd. We arrived at around 11.15 am and we’re greeted by the charming front desk clerk Carol who checked us in quickly and easily ( and check out too). You can tell she loves her job. The queen suite was lovely, quirky decor and a view of Bernard lake. We toured the grounds and walked to the end of the concrete pier where the ceremony would be taking place. After a quick bite of lunch we readied for the ceremony and had just got our first drink and were ready for a seat on the lovely comfortable patio. Unfortunately my partner had a terrible accident and fell when his ankle gave out and crashed into a close table sending glass flying as he hit the deck hard. I was beside myself and saw lots of blood. The service staff brought towels and got him seated and tried to clean him up. It was obvious that he needed to go to hospital as there was a gash on his wrist. At this point Kate the manager took over and did her best to clean the wound and stop the bleeding. Luckily a paramedic, part of the wedding party bandaged the wound up and stopped the bleeding and took a picture of the wound while we waited. Kate stayed with my partner and I while we waited for the ambulance which arrived about half an hour later. I was not permitted in the ambulance because of Covid restrictions. Off-he went to Huntsville hospital. After a change of clothes I was able to watch the ceremony on the pier. The bridal party looked lovely with the theme of a wind swept beach look. Well the wind picked up and gusted throughout the ceremony, giving an even lovelier wind swept look! After the ceremony and pictures I settled in for a cocktail on the patio. At that time I heard from my partner who was stitched up and bandaged. Our nephew and his wife drove to Huntsville to pick him up. We drove back to the wedding venue and arrived in time for the dinner, they were just serving the first course. Kudos to Huntsville hospital emergency department for getting him sorted in one hour! The meal was outstanding. We started with a mushroom consome followed by a mint and pea dish and for me the ravioli and the chicken for my partner. The professional service fromKate and her team was excellent. We enjoyed the first dance and a sweet table before retiring to bed. I have to say it was a memorable experience in more ways than one. Thank you to all the staff who looked after us during our stay at Northridge. We will definitely return in the early fall when the restaurant is fully open and time permits.

It wasn't really a typical resort that we had thought a resort was supposed to be. It feels more like a nice family-run getaway chalet thing. We had 3 meals in their restaurant. Fish and chips is great, breakfast is just so so, 4-5 warm dishes with some fruits, bakeries, deserts, overall a bit overpriced. We didn't get to use any of the facilities because of the weather, so can't really speak for that part. We did enjoy the TV, there are so many channels to watch, made it a cozy night time. The biggest complain we had is flies. There were flies in our room. There were flies in the restaurant, kind of annoying and concerning. What made it worse, I saw a fly lying in the milk container during the breakfast... Might be different during peak season.

North ridge is a beautiful property, but not a good choice for older seniors like us. The steps going down from the main building are an obstacle course with the result that my 84 yr old husband almost fell twice. Also, there were no grab bars in our bathroom. It’s a great place for young couples and families with kids. We greatly enjoyed the serenity and beauty of the grounds. I suspect that they are having trouble getting enough help because service in the restaurant was very slow, and there was no daily housekeeping. Would people rather stay home and collect Trudau’s “free” money?
