What a dump. No HVAC, room was high 80’s. Had to switch rooms at 10:30p. Some relief, but still extremely uncomfortable. No cookies and milk! That was the only good thing they had going for them, and they couldn’t even manage something so simple. For me cookies can fix a lot of things. What a disappointment, for shame Magnolia…for shame!

The phone didn’t work, could not order room service. Waited at the front desk 30 mins to check out bc no one was there at or around the counter. When the girl finally came rushing in from outside she was rude. I don’t think I’ll stay there again.

Overall the stay was terrific!
Javier at the door is delightful, kind, and will assist in any way he can, he deserves a raise.
Xavier at the front desk is extremely helpful.
All of the staff is friendly and helpful.
I really appreciated the staff at Robie’s restaurant too, they went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed and due to a conference they were BUSY!
Their food is terrific, highly recommend.
My only very small recommendation is that the grout in the bathroom could be a bit cleaner. But overall very clean and spacious hotel. It is historic and I hope the Marriott continues to invest in it.

Hotel staff was not good. Room was completely dirty…sheets had hairs in them along with the bathroom. Very run down facilities

I liked the old style downtown reinvented hotels. This one did not disappoint me. The check in was excellent and the staff member was VERY friendly and helpful.

My husband and I stayed during the Metallica concert. The staff was kind and helpful. The room was fairly clean but we had a pre used roll of toilet paper that ran out on first use with no extra roll in the room. They brought us some after a short wait. I did wish it has been cleaned a little better. I found trash while looking for an outlet and debri on the carpet while sitting on the rug. Overall it was a nice stay and could use a little better cleaning. The hotel staff and valet were very nice (especially during a busy time for the city)

We stay in a LOT of hotels and this one was definitely one of my favorites. It's a beautiful hotel with nice, clean big rooms. We stayed in a suite and would definitely stay here again.
