Beautiful hotel and property. The hotel has done a very good job of keeping the property safe and secure in downtown Spokane that can be quite scratchy. Can hear the train behind the hotel pass about every 30 minutes in your room all night. Was disappointed that there was old room service outside our door when we checked in. Makes it feel like you are going into a dirty room. Staff was amazing. Very helpful and polite.

Overall comfortable stay. Room temperature was hard to manage (very warm) and pillows were terrible…needs updating.

The details of the hotel are so neat and unique. We enjoy the proximity to downtown restaurants and shopping.

The hotel itself was a symphony of preserved grandeur, each corner boasting meticulous care and timeless elegance. Our room, a sanctuary of immaculate surfaces, unfolded with surprising spaciousness. The air resonated with the hotel's heritage, every detail oozing class – intricate moldings, antique furnishings. It was like stepping into a forgotten chapter, a storybook brought to life. A personal highlight was the second floor, where captivating framed photographs whispered tales of a bygone era. Then came the Grand Pennington Ballroom – a jaw-dropping masterpiece. Ornate ceilings, glittering chandeliers, and intricate tilework transported me to a Jaipur palace, leaving me awestruck and inspired. We embraced both breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The food was a culinary concerto, each dish expertly composed and bursting with flavor. The ambiance, woven with history, undeniably added to the experience. However, the coffee bar struck a minor discordant note, offering only two types of pastries and suffering from sluggish service. This brief pause in the harmony wouldn't deter me, though. The Historic Davenport's spellbinding a**osphere, impeccable service, and luxurious amenities far outweighed any minor imperfections. We left with hearts brimming with wonder, memories

We weren't too excited about our first room because there was no fridge and a pair of socks and a shirt on the floor. They were so kind when we called and they moved us to a beautiful corner suite. I couldn't have asked for better service. You helped create beautiful memories for my family. Wonderful job guys!

Great location and beautiful hotel. Our room was large and very clean. Close enough to walk to restaurants and shopping.
