Hotel Belair

Great attentive staff on all levels. Nicely decorated common areas, well maintained and very clean. The rooms are very comfortable and bright. The view of the sea is breathtaking Our mornings we were welcomed by Luigi, a gracious host. The breakfast was very high end and so fresh. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to stores and restaurants. No need for an Uber. I would definitely return to the Bel Air Sorrento in the future.
The Night Guest House

This b&b is at the centre in all senses: It is certainly a little central as everyone in reality, but it offers the minimum you need, but perhaps as much as it costs you should offer more. It is near the hospital so if you have the room on the way the decibels are high while from inside you have little to see but at least there is silence and it's our choice and we were very good. There is no breakfast and it is a pity because with that price in other facilities it is planned. In this free water and coffee structure (in other facilities there is a positive note) it was a pity that the water heat for the/camomila did not work. The coffee machine was going to the great. Clean structure. The clean and ordered room. The bathroom also was the dressing of the accessories. Unfortunately, at the reception there was never anyone on the morning we were without toilet paper (I had to go out to buy the dressing). They gently allowed us to leave the baggage and pick it up later (it was not easy since there was no one and we had to wait for the cleaner woman to lose the train). I must say, however, that the owner was kind and willing to give information and suggestions, and if you are at the right price you can advise.
Sorrento Relais

the hotel is close to the train station and bus terminal (also flix bus), but it would take 15-20 minutes to walk to the ferry to Capri. our bus ran late and it was so good that the staff was waiting for us at the door. she explained to us all about the hotel, showed us the room, and then a bit about Sorrento, where to eat, what to see, where is the best spot to see the sunset, how to get to the ferry, and etc. very friendly and helpful. breakfast is great. oh, the drinks from the front desk are cheaper than those you get from the supermarkets and shops!
Hotel Villa di Sorrento

Great hotel with excellent location. Right in the heart of Sorrento. 5 min walk to Main Street with shopping and eating, 10 min walk to train and bus station. Breakfast was amazing with great local selections. Simple but very elegant choices. Rooms were great. We had two rooms and each room had it own decore and colors.
Imperial Hotel Tramontano

I was a little weary before we arrived, with some of the negative reviews on this hotel. I’m writing this to let future travelers know that those bad reviews are completely wrong & not to worry! I’m actually surprised at some of the complaints after staying here for 5 days. Our stay was lovely. Hotel staff were very helpful & friendly! The room was spacious, clean and charming! It is an old hotel and that’s the charm of Italy, why go to some modern hotel like the cookie cutter ones in America?! They’ve upkept it beautifully. Breakfast was great. And those views?! You’re kidding! Perfect location and very quiet at night. We loved it here & would definitely return if we come back to sorrento. Grazie Hotel Tramontano!
Elys Suites

This is the best location, in my opinion, for a first stay in Sorrento. The balcony is on a business alley, 2 floors up, with a partial view of Tasso Square. We were there for the time of the vernal equinox and that area was busy with residents and tourists alike just having fun. It is run by Guisi, who met us in the square after a grueling drive into town on the weekend, and by Louisa, who keeps the place spotless and puts out a good breakfast every morning. They were so helpful, with directions, transportation advice, tour advice, dinner advice, whatever we needed. They care and work hard. We had the ”family” room, which included a loft for socializing, and came in handy when our friends dropped by. We aren't tech savvy, so no go when they tried to get us on Snapchat. However, they answered our cell phone call right away. I would also be remiss if I didn't recommend the train travel vs automobile. Napoli Centrale has a regional train going back and forth to Sorrento often during the day, and the station is only 4 blocks and an elevator ride from Ely's Suites. Much easier than the racetrack roads. We would stay at Ely's Suites again whenever we go to Sorrento.
