    SUUPERB SERVICE. I LOVE THIS HOTEL. Very Clean and with bath tub, and got really nice swimming pool. 🏊🏊🏊 EXCELLET SERVICE FROM ALL THE STAFF( from the entrance staff to desk staff , to room service, swimming pool) I came for my birthday staycation and they were really nice to send me cakes. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰. I have a last min urgent online long meeting, and they helped me in many ways to finish my meeting with ease. SPECIALLLY THANK YOU TO: Shafiq Diana Andrew Uncle sam Push pa And all the other staffs that make my whole family trip easy, safe, and comfortable.

    Located at the end of Orchard Road so still quite well situated. Check in is at 2pm, I went at 3 and there was no queue so it was quite fast. The deluxe room was spacious and well equipped with mini fridge, kettle, sofa, a balcony whose doors did not open, though you still get lots of natural day light. The room could be slightly cleaner if I'm nitpicking. There was a strand of long hair in the bathroom. You're only provided with one tube of shampoo and one tube of soap, and basic grooming things minus a comb. Breakfast which took place in the club lounge was serverely underwhelming, starting first with the poor service. When I reached, there was no staff in sight so I stood there for a good 2 minutes before being tended to. The food was "bento" so you don't get choices - they just serve you the plate of mains, fruits and yogurt and a glass of juice. You can request for tea or coffee of your choice. The pool was big and windy but you can really feel the age of the building. Overall, it could really do with a refresh but I got the room with breakfast at $89 so I guess you get what you pay for!

    A lot have changed since the covid 19 pandemic, of no fault to the hotel. The hotel owned restaurants and bars have closed. Due to their dependence on external caterers, breakfast is not available, and in rooms are only available from 12 noon to 8 plus pm. The hotel rooms seems quite barebones and there are few cable channels on TV. Nevertheless the location is very good. It's in town with no shortage of food from Shake shack, hard rock cafe, brewerkz, tung lok signatures and a Chinese restaurant Kam Boat. Breakfast options are more limited with Macdonald's next door being the only option. The service is also good. Staff are friendly and ready to help. Hopefully the team can bring it back to its pre covid standard after covid 19 pandemic ends.

    Excellent

    Hotel was located conveniently at Tanglin road with plenty of shopping and foods around the area. We booked a 5D4N staycay with our son and were given a corner interconnected room. The room was very spacious, however, our 1st night was ruined when the TV suddenly could not work. We called reception to send someone to look into it but no one came. Our neighbors next door were creating a ruckus from 9pm onwards to over midnight. We had to call the reception to ask that they lower their noise levels twice and even the security went up to their room. However, the noise continued and all of us lost sleep. My toddler was tossing and turning all night. The next day, we went to the lobby and asked for a change of room that is not a connected room with another. We waited and was told that they will inform us when it's available. We waited till it's evening time and went to the reception again to enquire. Finally, we got a chance of room which is smaller but we were able to sleep through the night. The swimming pool was decent, however, we can't wrap our heads around their silly procedures. We had to book the swimming slots days in advance else we wouldn't be able to get a slot. We checked in on Mon and there was only slots from Wednesday onwards. We have to wear our swimming costumes to the lobby to take a swim pass and take a different lift up to the pool. A stern old man was attending at the pool and received the pass. We were chased away by the 1hour mark and weren't allowed to bring the pool towels wrapped on us. His reason was that there isn't enough towels to go around. We were stunned how a hotel didn't had enough towels? 🤔😓🤯 so I had to negotiate to keep one towel for my toddler and he said we should bring our room towels to the pool instead. 😳🙄 Eventually he allowed us to bring the towel back for my toddler as I said he would catch a cold without the towel. So, we adults had to shiver the way back to our room. Which I'm again puzzled at the procedure where we could go back to our rooms using the same lift that we normally use for going up our room. I don't understand their silly logic. We've been to many other hotels and they're all very automated with online pool booking and we just had to name our room number before checking into the pool. Only this hotel had such manual and anal procedures. And the elderly staff isn't friendly at all. He was shouting at all the guests at the pool when the hour mark is up. How rude is that? While the hotel facilities were ok. These experiences weren't wonderful for us. 💔

    Excellent

    There was a lot of mixed reviews across multiple platforms, so I didn’t really expect too much from this staycation. But I must say, it’s a decent 3D2N getaway at this hotel, located in the “corner” of Orchard, away from the main busy area! The room itself is pleasant. Typical hotel room, nothing too fancy. The TV has YouTube but not streaming platforms like Netflix etc. it also comes with a mini balcony overseeing the pool and lush greens, so it’s pretty nice to look at. The room doesn’t come with bottled water and that’s what all hotels should do as tap water is drinkable in SG, so props to them for saving plastic and encouraging guests to use tap water. During non busy period, the staff will bring your food that you ordered via delivery apps to your room, so that’s great. One thing I dislike was the rainshower. The water doesn’t flow out very strong and only half of it will release water lol. Other than that, you can actually hear other people laughing in their rooms while you’re in the corridor. For couples who are making love, I leave it up to you how loud you wanna be 🥵 The staff were friendly during check in. You can easily go to wheelock/ion to shop or get food. Very convenient.
