The hostel is located conveniently with many shops nearby. They have a large common room that’s equipped with hot water, a pool table and several spaces to sit and work or eat. They also sell soft drinks. The dorms are fine. The beds are comfortable and large enough for a tall european. They don’t have curtains but that wasn’t much of a problem as most people just went there to sleep. There was no noise and everyone was very nice. The staff are helpful if you ask. My only caveat is the bathroom. Don’t get me wrong, it has everything one needs and is clean. It’s just not the most luxurious thing. If you are a solo traveler or backpacker who mainly wants a base and a place to sleep this is a great place. If you are looking for something where you would spend the day and have some quality self-time I would recommend to go for something more expensive. With that being said, everything is reasonably good, works and the price is good as well. So for a backpacker like myself I would recommend this place and I’d also stay again myself. Hope this helps someone ;)

The room upstairs at Zhongtian Fitness is clean and tidy! full facilities! There is a pool table and cats, but the key is that the boss is very nice! The a**osphere of the youth hostel is very good 👍 There is a social area where you can make friends from all over the world! I will stay here when I come to Shenzhen from now on! Unbeatable value for money!
