Coral Sea Aqua Club Resort

Great hotel. We spent a wonderful week there. Delicious food, first-class service and, of course, animators who didn't let you get bored. A typical family hotel with various family attractions. The pools were clean, the room was just right and good cleaned.

Very nice short break family holidays… as a small resort not much is going on as not in proper season, but the entertainment team especially Hamda, Oliwia and Amy made an effort to keep us active and entertained with activities like yoga, aqua aerobics, water polo and fabulous games of darts…. Thank you for all your suggestions and company…. Perhaps we can go clubbing with you next time

Absolutely lovely hotel. Not too big. The staff were all very welcoming and their level of English was superb. There are plenty of pool areas to keep everyone happy. The water park and children’s water park is fab. Ahmed at the main pool looked after us and was always lovely. My son particularly loved the popcorn which he got every day. Mansur and Hamada are lovely and chatty and always smiling. They provided fab quizzes along with the usual darts, water polo and other entertainment. They were available in the evenings at the entertainment too along with an English lady who we tried to speak with but she wasn’t very talkative, she was mainly in the kids club. The ladies dancing show was really good and the quiz put on by the entertainment team was good too but if I ever see another Egyptian man in a spinning skirt I will scream! The evening singers were a lovely addition and we had a dance a few nights. Our room cleaner Talal was lovely. So helpful and his English was fantastic. For some reason he was moved from our floor but whenever he saw us he still called out to us to check we were all good. Our favourite meal was at the American restaurant. The staff were lovely. I had the chicken wings and fajitas and they were beautiful. The soft drinks, coffee and alcohol was lovely, no problems at all. The only let down at this hotel was the food during the day. The snack bar was the worst I have had on and AI holiday. The staff here were not so friendly and the food was dried out. Our room was huge! In block 2 with a swim up pool. We were completely spoilt with fresh fruit on arrival and daily towel art. There was a problem with bugs biting but this was not the hotels fault it was the time of year. Please buy the orange OFF spray and use it frequently. We used Sinai Excursions for any taxis we booked. We travelled to Naama Bay for dinner one evening and ate in Rosas which was lovely. We also ate out at Hard Rock Cafe which was fab. We also took a day trip to Cairo which was unreal. The hotel provided us with a lovely breakfast bag. The hotel are very GOOD at what they do and we have no complaints really just the snackbar needs more variety. We walked a few times to the Sister hotel across the road and down to the beach. My husband and son went snorkelling and saw many fish off the pier. I paddled at the beach and saw many fish there too. We had lunch one day in the buffet there which was nice. Our second visit we went to get a drink at the bar at the entrance to the hotel but we were made to feel very unwelcome by the staff and they commented we were from the other hotel and pointed to our wristbands. We hadn’t asked for anything big just 1 shandy and 2 cokes. They were quite rude about us not having a shandy which was fine by us but we were made to feel uncomfortable so we did not go back. Would we return here, absolutely yes we had a great time 😎😎😎😎

The food, the staff, the entertainment, the animation team, the cleanliness, everything was amazing. Everyone was really lovely and welcoming and the staff really made sure they went out their way to get to know you to give you the best customer service.

We enjoyed our stay at the Coral Sea Aqua club. The staff were amazing and really friendly, always smiling and willing to help. The hotel isn’t as big as it looks and is much smaller than its sister hotel across the road (this is just the Aqua Park). The beach is about 7-10 min walk (Sister hotel) with security to help cross the road - we got a buggy which was helpful when you have small children. Internet is good (though we paid about £8 extra for the whole week as only 5GB is free). The Aqua park is really good, there is a good variety of slides, wave pool, surf pool and adult rides. Pretty much there everyday after breakfast. Plenty of sun beds. The main restaurant is fine, food is a hit and miss. Some days are good (the BBQ was amazing) but the rest is pretty much the same. Can do with more variety of fruits. Should have a larger kids buffet (Yogurts, Biscuits). Inclusive drinks are ok (soft drinks menu is limited). Spoke with the chef who was willing to listen and take feedback (appreciate they have a difficult job to cater to all). The American restaurant was good, but had more of a British menu (fish and chips). Entertainment wasn’t good (limited to music and dancing). I was told it isn’t the peak time which is why the entertainment was limited (though the hotel was fairly busy). But the animation team did their best to keep the children entertained. Kids club was ok, limited to a few toys, darts and colouring books. Overall, hotel was a pleasant stay, staff are amazing, as was the Aqua park. Location is good, with an array of shops outside. Improvement can be made to the restaurant and entertainment. I would come here again.

I have just spent 1 week here and it was an absolute fantastic experience check in was super quick and we arrived late and they had some food and snacks waiting for us we booked the swim up room which was so nice too the rooms were cleaned every single day the staff work so hard day and night keeping the place clean and tidy and nothing is too much trouble the bar staff are amazing. The food was nice always something and a nice choice too we didn’t really go to the entertainment on the evening but there was something on each night the beach is just a 10 min walk across the road and the hotel is on a good stretch of bars shops and restaurants. So overall it was a fantastic stay and I would definitely come back again

excellent hotel. some tips below: 1.For tips bring $1 dollar bills. We got $25 for £20 from Tui shop. Miles easier. Using £1 coins means they need to change them. Did a few 10 pounds for notes for them and now just means I’ve loads of coins to take home! We tipped the room guy, pool and restaurant. As said before tho they share them. SERVICE IS SECOND TO NONE, regardless if you tip or not. Everyone is so friendly. 2. Mozzie and suncream. Mozzies are relentless on a night. Bring the best spray you can, we used home bargains tropical spray. Avon so soft isn’t weapons grade enough for these mozzies! Suncream, bring 30 minimum. We’re both traveled and tanned (Tenerife over Xmas) but still burnt! Seen people round the pool with factor 10 oil. This isn’t Skegness! It’s different league here. 3. Cash or card? Everywhere takes cards. Falcon Adventure Excursions Sharm take them, the fake shops take them, bars take them. No issue at all. No one really likes Egyptian notes. Even the ****** in Naama bay doesn’t want its own currency! 4. Hotel. Tricky one this. As said service is class. Hotel is a 4 star. Coral holiday opposite is 5 star. We walked round holiday and didn’t rate it. Yes it looks posher but it’s much more spread out. Big gate house etc. Aqua club is nice and compact. 2 mins to the room from the pool, buffet etc. If you want posh and insta photos holiday is for you. If you want practical aqua club. 5. Food. Yes we both got belly ache at some point. It’s not European food, there’s no Michelin star quality places around as you’d get in canaries etc. the buffet is good tho, plenty of choice. First class service but it is a chew in there. It’s not a pleasant dinner experience. Kids are noisy, it’s busy. Typical buffet really. The al acarte places are quieter but the same food really. Was is missing is any real outdoor spaces to eat. 6. Kids. Everyone has them here! We was 1 of a few couples without them! To be fair we like kids and wasn’t an issue. But if you want relaxing etc this isn’t for you. The place is geared up for them. If you have kids and want to come there’s everything here. Water park, shaded play areas, kids section on the buffet. 7. Entertainment. Non-existent really compared to over AL resorts. There’s a singer in the lobby bar most evenings and a 90’s butlins stage area for the kids entertainment. This is more like a primary school hall than decent AL entertainment. But the kids seem to love it! 8. Rooms. Perfect really. We stayed in 2116 swim up. Aircon was good, shower was good. BBC news. Sport channels. Bed was comfy and massive. Cleaned everyday and fresh towels etc. our swim up was good. Only small but perfect if you want ur own space. 9. Price. We paid £200 less than holiday wld have been and happy we did. Value is second to none here. And the £200 more for holiday would have been wasted . 10. Beach. Went once, wasn’t keen. Pretty sure it’s a fake beach. Naama bay was much better 11. Safety. Put at number 11

Stayed 2 weeks at this wonderful hotel as a single parent with 3 boys. We had a swim up room (block 2, sunny side) and it was amazing arrived on a late flight, there was a fantastic welcome, we were taken to our room which was so spacious with a really large wardrobe which is a bonus massive, comfortable bed (wish it could have fit in my suitcase ) a lovely sectioned off area for 2 of my boys leading to the small terrace and swim up pool, large bathroom with a walk in, screened shower which had good pressure/heat consistently.... there was also a fruit platter in the room and a full buffet awaiting us in the dining room, which was amazing. The food was fantastic, such a great variety, didn't have any meals that weren't totally amazing and the staff are extremely attentive and friendly, my little son used to follow them round and they were all amazing with them The resort itself was immaculately clean and staff were always cleaning, gardening and doing general maintenance..... my housekeeper, Essam kept our room absolutely sparkling and was so friendly and helpful, working long hours and with a smile on his face The waterpark/slide area kept my son's entertained and we all loved the lazy river. I didn't try the wave pool but our friends said that it was brilliant pirate ship was brilliant, I almost wanted to be a child again to use it main pool, yes there are tiles missing but it didn't impact us in any way whatsoever and my kids used it.... there was activities such as water exercises (not my bag so didn't do any of those ) and my son played water fo we slotball each day and had loads of fun the music was good.... bar staff came around regularly to ask if you wanted a drink which was nice, no queuing..... my kids loved the daily candy floss and popcorn at the pool bar too which was available early afternoon. The staff from management to cleaners were all so nice and they are a credit to the hotel.... too many names to mention, all of the kids favourite was Salah..... I loved all of the staff and think they work so very hard and all with smiling faces, they truly made an already fab holiday magical I've been to quite a few holidays in different destinations and have never wanted to return as I like to discover new people and places but this place, I'd return in a heartbeat.... thank you Coral Sea for an amazing stay... from Michelle, Ashton, Leon and Jenson All trips were booked via Falcon Adventure Excursions next door to the hotel and taxis via Hany Mahmood

We had the best time at this hotel. Lots of slides, pools, good food choices, very clean and tidy. The loveliest staff. Youseff and Marwa in the restaurant were amazing. There were 2 incredible bar staff that looked after us and Aimee from animation was so lovely with our girls. We had some amazing trips booked with Falcon. I was lucky to spend my birthday there, room was decorated and I was sang to with a cake. I never even told them it was my birthday. We would definitely return here. One of our favourite holidays.
