The location was great; along a quiet alley just minutes away from the MingQing street. Hotel is a residential place and has beautiful courtyards. The breakfast was delicious, we even requested for extra helpings! Hotel offers pickup and dropoff at Pingyao Gucheng Station and helped arranged for a knowledgeable private guide for our day.

It was my first time living in the ancient city, my first time staying in a homestay, and my first time sleeping on a bed with a kang. It was quite a feeling. Friends from the south can experience what it was like to be a big landlord here in the ancient city during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
