the location is very much close to the mountain view. i love the room view so much. the facilities such as cafe and restaurant is vry clean and the surrounding was really scenic to take pictures

The view from the guesthouse is spectacular. The staff are friendly and helped make the stay enjoyable.

The positive reviews are surprising given this is genuinely one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. The toilets for the non en-suite rooms are essentially a rudimentary public toilet that are used by passers by all day. There are no communal areas just for guests and the site is overrun by hikers stopping by for a break (which is fair enough). We could see through to the next rooms through cracks and could hear every word spoken. Yes the terrace is nice but great views are easy to come by in the gorge. As long as the walk starts at the Naxi guesthouse, you could easily do a few more miles and stay somewhere better further along the gorge.

Tea Horse Guest House is a beautiful place to stay if you’re hiking on the Tiger Leaping Gorge Trail. They have a coffee shop with large outdoor deck that offers a spectacular view of the mountains. We stayed in one of the cheaper rooms with shared bathroom on the other side of the parking lot. It was rustic, but they had electric blankets that kept us toasty. It’s a great place. I highly recommend it.

Very basic room with good bed heater. But the mountain view is so spectacular. Imagine waking up to snow mountain behind you. What a blessing. Overall this hotel is considered decent stay for one night. Dont forget to try out butter cookies in the cafe. Homemade and so buttery.

Great location for a rest stop after 28 Bends. Amazing terrace view! Nice restaurant with reasonably priced food. Booked room was a basic one with toilet outside. Issue being the toilet was an 'open' system which was not comfortable to use. Had to hold myself unless it was necessary to do my business. Wifi worked well. Room came with a superb mountain view and adequate wall plug to charge devices. As a plus point, the bed came with heating pad so the night sleep went swimmingly.

Perfect location for the trek if you want to avoid the 28 bends. The cars can come until the guesthouse. The trek takes 5h from tea horse to Tina guesthouse

The location was really breathtaking, simply wonderful. The room was cleand and cozy (even had electric blankets to keep you warm in place of air conditioning!) and restaurant served tasty, Chinese dishes in good prices. Overall, the experience - together with the hike - was very nice but it has to be noted that in case of the simplest no-bathroom room, the shared public toilet and bathroom is quite a disgusting experience. We've seen a lot and this one 'topped' it all.

Amazing location right in the middle of the gorge. Beautiful viewing deck, friendly hosts, set in the stunning tiger leaping gorge. Great place to refuel and enjoy a well earned rest after a day of hiking!

Simple accommodation in the middle of the mountain for a fair price. Nice terrace and food was good. If you choose simple room with shared toilet be aware that the toilet is very basic. Besides of the public toilet and shower we enjoyed the stay.

This hostel was good point to start hiking for middle trekking to Halfway to Tina’S guesthouse. The view from this hostel also very fascinating.

I chose to stay here over Halfway Guesthouse as the rooms and view looked nicer and I’m glad I did. Absolutely loved the environment. The room had everything I needed (especially the heated mattress) and there was a nice place to chill with a hot mulled wine as well. Food was good too and they even have Korean food for those craving it. I would recommend staying here on your first night of the hike 😊

Simple room with nice view, warm blanket. Wonderful viewing platform with great coffee, tea and cookies, cakes. Restaurant serve good food, nice pizza too.

Nice location right next to the old town. Friendly owners that were helpful with booking activities.
