Quiet and serene place for everyone who wants to rejuvenate from their hectic urban lifestyle.
Great amenities with the latest technology(xiao du) which enables voice control system.
And the biggest plus is the presence of a clingy alaskan malamute by the name of Hong Gong Zi. And believe me, he doesn’t bite and you can take him on a stroll where he can bring you around to tour.

A Truly Memorable Stay at "Under the East Fence of Shangri-La Napahai Nature Reserve"
I recently had the pleasure of staying at "Under the East Fence of Shangri-La Napahai Nature Reserve," and I cannot recommend this place enough! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and cared for by the host, Guozi, who is one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I’ve ever met.
Guozi went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. She upgraded me to a larger room than what I had booked, which was such a lovely surprise. The room itself was very cool — equipped with all the latest Chinese technology, including automated curtains, voice-controlled lighting, TV projector, screen, and a music system. The heated floors were an absolute treat, especially in the chilly Shangri-La weather.
The view from the room was simply breathtaking, with a full window wall overlooking the stunning landscape of the Napahai Nature Reserve. Waking up to such a view was an unforgettable experience.
Guozi’s hospitality didn’t stop there—she even made tea for me, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The dinner is simple and delicious. Great coffee and Chinese breakfast in the morning. On the day of my departure, her husband kindly drove me to the railway station, which was incredibly helpful and saved me a lot of stress.
Another highlight of my stay was meeting Hong Gongzi (The Red Prince), their adorable and majestic Alaskan Malamute. He’s a huge, fluffy, and gentle giant who added so much joy to my visit. If you’re a dog lover, you’ll absolutely adore him!
The location itself is stunning, nestled near the Napahai Nature Reserve, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful environment. It’s the perfect place to unwind and connect with nature. It is located well away from town.
Overall, my experience at this home stay was exceptional, thanks to Guozi’s warmth, the luxurious and tech-savvy accommodations, and the charming company of Hong Gongzi. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shangri-La and hope to return one day!

The room was very big spacious and well equipped. They have a working washer/dryer in each room, as well as an oxygen machine to ensure a good nights sleep.
Will definitely come back to stay here!

Remote location that overlooks the wetlands. Beautiful scenery every morning. Breakfast a bit simple but good. Wish there was a bike or some kind of mobility for rent which makes it easier to get around if you do not have a car. Rooms are as depicted and are very clean and spacious.

This trip to Shangri-La was so perfect, all thanks to staying in this awesome Napahai B&B!
As soon as I entered the room, the complete facilities made me shine. The air conditioning and heating effect is super awesome. Shangri-La has a big temperature difference between morning and evening. With it, the coldness dissipates instantly and warms my heart. There is also a smart heated toilet, which gives you a full experience. Every time you use it, you feel happy and warm. The whole house smart guest control is full of technology. The lights and curtains can be controlled by just moving your mouth. It's so convenient!
In your spare time, lie on the bed, turn on the huge projector, choose a favorite movie, and instantly start a comfortable private theater time. There is no need to worry about washing clothes. The Xiaomi smart washing and drying machine is fast and quiet, which completely solves the troubles of traveling and not wanting to go out and not wanting to use public washing machines.
What surprised me most was the viewing experience of the B&B. The large French window at the door has an excellent view. Every morning, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of sunrise and snow-capped mountains without going out. The golden sunlight sprinkles on the snow-capped mountains, which is sacred and spectacular. The service staff and housekeepers here are also very enthusiastic.
