The room was tidy and clean. The front desk lady provided great service. Because I had a postgraduate entrance examination the next day and the next door was very noisy, she helped me change rooms in the middle of the night and told me to do my best in the exam. I was very touched. If I can make it to the retest, I will definitely stay at this hotel!

The address is a little off, but the price/performance ratio is quite high. The guest room is very large. The bed in the king-size room seems to be 1.8 meters wide. The bathroom is clean and dry, and the room is simply furnished. For breakfast, there are noodles, wontons, and buns, but the stir-fried dishes and cold dishes are just average.

Location and facilities: 10 minutes walk from the subway, and there are abundant home-style restaurants within 500 meters. Lobby: Small and cozy Room: The space layout and decoration design lack humanization, the family room space is irregular, the bathroom is large but empty, there is no towel rack, and the bathing clothes and towels can only be placed on the support board under the sink. The large area covered by the curtains is a solid wall, and there is only one small window in the corner of the wall, which makes the room stuffy. There is a platform in the bathroom. Although there are signs to remind you, you can trip over it if you are not careful. There is no phone, and it is inconvenient to contact the front desk. The water spout of the kettle splashes water, and there is a lot of stale water in the water tray and small refrigerator. Advantages: smart toilet, smart voice control curtains, air conditioning, music, TV. The family room comes with breakfast for one person. The breakfast is relatively rich. There is a small induction floor lamp by the bed.

There are a number of areas that did not match the impression I had prior to arrival. Firstly, the hotel shares its premises with a youth hostel with the hotel rooms on Level 9 only. To get to level 9, you have to first take a lift to Level 8 before transferring to another lift. This was extremely troublesome especially when you need to go to reception for any matter. The rooms are laid out like a maze and it was easy to get lost in the maze until you get the hang of it. On my first night, they had me in a windowless room that smelled very strongly of medicated oil. This room was extremely stuffy but they were kind enough to move me to a room with a window, though it was much smaller with no chairs and wardrobe to hang your clothes. I liked that the rooms had a washing machine with dryer which was a convenient way to wash your clothes on the go. The gym was in a carved out space next to reception, making it extremely weird and strange to be working out. The shopping mall that the hotel is connected to has seen better days, looking rather lacklustre though it was nice to have easy access to a supermarket. Staff members were generally kind and obliging though it was easy to miss them as they were often hiding behind a messy and cluttered reception counter. The hotel is also at least a 10-15min walk to the nearest metro stations so something to keep in mind when booking.

Super nice service from the whole team from receptionists,housekeepers… The location is good with many restaurants surround and walking to Yishan Road station (~5-8 mins walking) Definitely recommend for travelling to Shanghai It is quite new and modern hotel I also like their laundry service (modern machine, well and fresh detergent), they also help you to take care of it if you do not have time to follow. 100/100 Well done !!!

My friends in China recommended this hotel and told me that she loves it because it’s relatively inexpensive compared to similar hotels in the area. She also stressed that it is a native Chinese brand hotel that it is easier for her to order food and just anything she needs. I was pleasantly surprised by its decor, service, cleanliness and modern amenities. Our room had a nice big tub, huge shower and toilet with bidet. It’s been a while since I visited Japan and I forgot how nice to have a bidet. The breakfast was a nice addition to our stay since it is included. It served both Chinese and American breakfast with some nice local dishes. The decor is modern Chinese Jiangnan style featuring paintings, Calligraphy, and 3-D animation of gold fishes. I enjoyed working out at the gym as well. Super clean and all equipment are easy to use. There is a Pilate room as well. I didn’t have time to enjoy it. The staff are friendly and helpful. Not to mention that I asked for a power cord, it was delivered by a robot. Five star experience! .

Extended my trip a second time. Stay continued to be pleasant. A front desk staff first said I can leave luggage with them for a longer period of time if I have confirmation of a future booking, but when I asked later a different staff member said they cannot accommodate overnight luggage storage. If that's something important to you, I recommend asking them again to confirm.
