I enjoyed my stay at Amara. They staff are friendly and the lobby is beautifully decorated for Christmas. I was a bit concerned about the temperature in the room, since it’s a high floor. Also, I was given a room with a conjoined wall / door so the noise level from my neighbors was a bit annoying. But mostly a great place to stay!

We stayed at Renaissance Shanghai Zhongshan Park Hotel twice during our China trip this time. We had a minor issue with the hotel window during our 1st stay, however the hotel changed our room without asking us to move luggage. The 2nd morning we had the most honest appology from LeeChee when checking out. We decided to book Renaissance Shanghai Zhongshan Park Hotel again when came back to Shanghai a week after, and had outstanding customer service from LeeChee once again. I would recommend Renaissance Shanghai Zhongshan Park Hotel to any our family and friends.

On April 17th, I discovered it! ! ! There is actually a Hyatt Centric? ? I'm not dazzled, am I not looking at the Hyatt Centric Hong Kong that my baby bear loves so much? Really are! Hyatt Centric opened on April 18 in Shanghai, and I immediately placed an order for the week after May Day! ! ! Before I checked in, I saw some not-so-good reviews of this new hotel on several platforms. I was actually quite panicked, but Baby Bear loves Hyatt Centric. I couldn’t help it, so I came on time... result! ! Refreshed my feelings before checking in! ! Because really, it’s awesome! ! ! I arrived at the Hyatt Centric at 5 pm that day. As soon as the car stopped and I didn’t even get out of the car, several concierges came to greet me... Here comes the point! ! ! Focus on it! ! ! Big thumbs up brother! ! What impressed me the most was the very tall and handsome concierge manager Xiao Liu, Lucas... He had such a nice attitude~~ The next few days were really good and he took good care of every aspect~~ The hotel is really good in every aspect. . . Breakfast is super, super, super delicious. . The facilities are very good. Although it is a renovated hotel (this is normal), all the facilities and details are very good! No! wrong! ! Friends who come to Shanghai, come to Hyatt Centric! ! ! This a a cute hotel in a great location if you want to go out in downtown Shanghai, since its surrounded by restaurants and bars. The room is of a good size and although the soundproofing isnt amazing there were no noisy guests on my floor so I slept well and the bed was warm and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and efficient,and there is a nice cafe downstairs. The sink in the bedroom area is a little odd but that is really the only bad thing I can say.

We come regularly to relax and enjoy a quiet time. As usual the staff are very friendly and helpful, it’s nice and clean and the rooms are fairly spacious. I think the only disappointment was that the sauna is not warm enough. They set the temperature to 50 or 60 degrees which is too low as it took me about 30 min just to break a sweat. I would recommend 80 degrees.

Overall experience: The room is cramped, and the price is four to five hundred per night, which is not very cost-effective. Hygiene: The overall hygiene is pretty good, but I don't know if it's the smell from the outside or from the wallpaper. I may be sensitive to such smells and feel a little peculiar. Facilities: There are few sockets in the whole room, one on the small shelf, one on the bedside, and one sink (fixed with a hair dryer). It would be inconvenient if there were more charging devices. Environment: The overall space is relatively small and a bit crowded. Only one person can pass through an aisle, and if you want to eat, you can only squeeze in at the end of the bed. The only window for ventilation seems to be less than one meter wide. Next to the window is the outdoor unit of the air conditioner. It may be noisy if it is the season when space is needed. (The windows of their street-facing rooms are slightly larger, but they are angled rooms🤣) Service: The aunts and uncles at the front desk and the guest room cleaners are still very polite and enthusiastic, especially the staff in the guest rooms. They will say hello when they encounter them, respond quickly to anything they need, and will never mess with things after explaining what needs to be dealt with. Breakfast: There are not many varieties, including fried rice, fried noodles, bread, noodles, porridge, and steamed buns. There is a small yellow hair cake that is not bad. The tomato was washed very sloppily, and a lot of dirt was not washed off. I took it back to the room and washed it. Meal time is 7:00-10:00.

I'll come here early next time. Cleaning: very clean and dust-free. Environment: The room environment is very suitable for watching the night view. The scenery at night and during the day is OK. The large floor-to-ceiling windows look at the Suzhou River downstairs, which is really beautiful. like! Will definitely book it next time! I stayed here a few times before the epidemic, and it was the first time I stayed after the epidemic. It still tastes the same as before. The Hema downstairs, which was still being renovated when I lived before, is now open; the Line 14, which was still under construction downstairs, is also connected, and the exit is very close to the hotel. The room is very large, and there are only a few households on each floor. It is very quiet. Since there are mostly long-term tenants, there are simple kitchen utensils, microwaves, ovens, washing machines, refrigerators, and coffee machines. The gym has basic equipment and there are few people. Downstairs is Igo Plaza, a cinema and restaurants. There are all department stores, which basically meet my needs. The only fly in the ointment is that the service life is long and the furniture decoration style is a bit old, but I don't care about these (very cautious about this point). In addition, I would like to give the hotel a small opinion. Other electrical appliances are okay. It would be perfect if the TV can be replaced with a newer model (the current estimate is 20 years ago) All in all, I will stay here again, it is more in line with my needs🤗

My experience wasn't bad but it wasn't phenomenal either. The front desk personnel have limited English but they really tried their best to communicate and help me. They were willing to go the extra mile to make my stay memorable. Breakfast was a little disappointing because most of their food was super oily. Even though breakfast finishes at 10:30, from around 9am they refill some of their dishes. When they start packing away and you are still sitting there enjoying your breakfast, they have no consideration that you might want something. Usually in most hotels I've been to, someone goes to each table to notify the guests that cleaning up is about to commence so that guests can quickly grab whatever they might want before it's taken away.

Hi! We are a couple from NZ. This hotel was AMAZING! The best we have stayed at in a long time. After a long flight they let us check into our room 6 hours early which was much needed. We were greeted with hot tea on arrival and they took our bags straight away. Our room was clean with great fluffy pillows, a fridge and large shower. Fresh fruit was dropped off everynight and the breakfast buffet in the morning provided western and Chinese options - this was a great way to start the day and I would highly recommend including this in your stay. It is close to the metro and handy to all the main lines. We used the metro man app to navigate how to get on and it was easy peasy! There isn’t much to eat around but a little shop with snacks did the job. A massive mall is only one stop away and has many options. The only downside to our trip was on two days our room wasn’t turned over (cleaned). I am not sure If this was a communication breakdown but when I asked for clean towels etc they sorted it out pretty quickly. We highly recommend this hotel, the staff and friendly robot!
