We stayed at Hongqiao Guest House for a short time, but we were impressed. First of all, the whole hotel environment is beautiful, as if you are in a natural oxygen bar, which is very comfortable. Secondly, the hotel staff is warm and thoughtful. Mr. Nie at the front desk and another unknown gentleman on night shift left a good impression on us. We originally booked 2 nights, but wanted to check out 1 day in advance due to physical discomfort. The front desk communicated with Ctrip Travel Network in time and quickly helped us solve the problem. It was touching. If we have the opportunity in the future, we will stay at Hongqiao Guest House again.

The parent-child room is of a decent size and is carefully decorated. Children's bathrobes and toiletries are specially prepared. Although the overall hardware is average, it is well maintained for a hotel with a long history. The entire hotel is like being in a very large park. The environment is very good and it is very suitable for a family vacation with children and the elderly. It is worth mentioning that the hotel's service is also first-class. Every employee I met is very polite and service-minded. Mr. Deng at the front desk is also very kind.

Don't share all these amazing reviews provided here. Dated and run down. Looks glam when you walk in but corridors, rooms and facilities are much less glam. Staff not exactly attentive, they looked rather gloomy or exhausted. The swimming pool facilities are partly falling apart which is a shame, just not maintained or looked after well enough over the years. Loved the massive rooms though. Great location and easy access to the metro and railway station.

The stay experience of Changfeng Huayi is quite amazing, and you must come to comment. You can enter with your eyes closed when you are traveling for business. 1. Convenient location, the concierge will guide you to the free parking in Parking Lot C, which is easy to find. 2. The service is absolutely first-class. The lady at the front desk upgraded the high floor and room type, the lady at the noodle shop, and the brother who unexpectedly guided the parking lot. Hotels with a higher price may not be so comprehensive. 3. The guest rooms are relatively new, and the high-rise floors face the lake view. I personally think that the partition doors in the guest rooms are good, the privacy is good, and the wooden floors are more preferred than carpets. The guest rooms I stayed in feel larger than the displayed area. 4. I accidentally left my clothes in the room before leaving. The hotel staff reviewed and assisted in sending them back on the day of check-out. I must come to comment on this stay experience.

I had a wonderful stay! The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.

The AC doesn't work in any of the rooms. Just because it's late November and already considered to be the ”cold” season, the AC ”cold” function doesn't work. These days shanghai weather is not cold, so it's 27-28 degrees inside the rooms because of the sun exposure on the windows, and there is no way to get some cool air. The windows also barely open so it's hard to cool the room this way. I've been in China for 7 years and this is the first time I see this. I had to change to another hotel as sleeping without a decent temperature in the room is a deal breaker.
