The landlord will contact us by phone one day in advance and send us the check-in guide and password. Check-in is very convenient. However, it is not very friendly to the elderly. There is no reception staff and the whole check-in is self-service. The room layout is very reasonable, there is a kitchen for cooking, and a separate bathroom is very convenient. The landlord also responded to messages quickly. Worth staying

The room is relatively small, but the accommodation is suitable. The bed is 1.5 meters standard, with a storage space underneath, so the room is more suitable for long-term living. It is on Shaanxi South Road, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to Ruijin Hospital. Disposable toothbrushes, slippers, and bath towels are all quite clean. Recommended

This was a beautiful little home stay in the heart of Xuhui. I chose this for its proximity to my friend’s wedding venue which was only a 20 minute walk. It’s also near Fuxing Park where all of the nightclubs are stacked into a single large building. The only issues I had were with cleanliness and amenities, although they were minor. Cleanliness: the dishes were stacked together on the counter, but each dish still had a pool of water in them. I didn’t realize this until late into my first night. Also, the cleaner wore her outside shoes right into the unit after my checkout, meaning the floor was probably not sanitary during my check in. Amenities: No hand soap — only a container of hand sanitizer in the bathroom. I’m not a fan of hand sanitizer and would’ve preferred hand soap. Overall, it’s a great stay that I would certainly come back to. WARNING: This listing is weird because it’s a homestay/airbnb, and the host didn’t provide an address until I called and asked. She’s lucky I spoke Mandarin and had WeChat. Makes me wonder how she would provide these to a foreigner who can’t speak mandarin and doesn’t use wechat.

I checked in early and saw the aunt cleaning.

The landlord was very patient in answering questions throughout the whole process. The community is very quiet and clean. It's on the first floor, and it may be a bit humid when it rains. It's much better when the air conditioner is turned on. There is also a small fireplace in the room. It's quite nice, and there is a small yard. You can sit outside when the weather is good. It's just that the green plants need maintenance and care, and some leaves have turned yellow.
