I had a wonderful experience staying with Base. It was comfortable like home, the bed is very comfortable. I stayed in duplex two room, the living room is fantastic and comes with a great view of the local street of xuhui district. It is a peaceful street, there are a few malls and convenience stores around, many choices for food. Special thanks to the friendly and helpful reception staffs who help me with my check in and check out -Billy and Wendy thank you very much for your great service. You had made my stay a wonderful experience, I will definitely come back again .
The house keeping ah yi is also very nice and caring to ensure I have everything that I need, she came to replenish bottled water, towels and clean up my room in the morning.
You will love this hotel as the staffs take care of you like a family.

Located at a convenient place, close to subway station. Many choices for restaurants, and local foods for breakfast. Front desk has staff 24-7, and is quick responding.

Nice hotel but the front side might be a little noisy due to the road and bad insulation.

The apartment is very well located. I enjoyed the friendly service provided by the staff at the counter desk. Limited facilities, but I knew that when I was booking the serviced apartment. It is clean - but could be cleaner (some of the walls had visible scratches which were painted over, but it didn't bother me).

Great location, very clean as well. There’s housekeeping everyday and the lady is super friendly. Towels, water, tissues and toilet paper were replenished everyday and the beds were made. Packages were sent to the door when you do online shopping. Great for long stays, will stay here again.

Fourth time to stay here, economical and beside a useful mall for dining. 5~10 mins walk to 4 metro lines, convenient to Xujiahui centre.
Rooms are simple and sufficient, no issues for a few days stay with washing machine-dryer, microwave and fridge, good bed and linens. Quiet enough area and convenient.
Some ability for speaking Mandarin is useful at the front desk.

Very friendly service from all staff. I do not speak Chinese, but we could communicate via WeChat when needed. The room is comfortable with a large bed, lovely shower, small fridge, kettle & toaster. There is a shared laundry area on the same floor, with a washing machine/dryer and free laundry detergent. Great location, 10 minute walk from 2 different metro stations. Good price, I would stay here again.

I really liked the bigger room. It also has a balcony! I think it's worth it to spend a little bit more money and book this room rather than the very basic one.
It was my third time staying at base. I would come again. Staff is very friendly :)
