5 star hotel in excellent location. Great service. Polite and helpful staff. Excellent buffet breakfast selection. Very spacious rooms clean and with full amenities. We were given a room upgrade upon check in and that was great. I loved the breakfast which had both western and local food. Location is great. Just next road to Nanjing Road, the long pedestrian street line with shops all the way to the Bund. Health centre offers reasonable priced massages, great after loads of walking. Great value, we enjoyed our stay here.

This hotel is strategically located near The Bund, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, food stalls, shopping mall and scenic views.
The room is great, the foods are good and the service is impeccable.
The housekeeping lady, Lydia is very helpful, accomodating, proffessional in her work and always smiling.
A great hotel to stay, will definately recommend to my family and friends when they come to Shanghai

Perfect location, walking distance to main shopping area and attractions. Staffs are polite and helpful. The room is very clean and spacious. We loved it.

The best location of CBD areas, very convenient and walk score is great. Love room’s spaciousness and the views from the suite. One improvement would be showcasing more of the Shanghai local specialties into the breakfast menu? All in all, we enjoyed our stay as a small family 👍🏻👍🏻

Unfortunately my stay here was mediocre at best. At first, the hotel is a bit dated for the price point set. The rooms and the washrooms clearly show their age. Although the rooms are clean, I found a couple of hairs on the linen and my towels. However, these flaws can be justified by the hotels location which is very close to the Bund and the Nanjin Street. I could also see the TV tower from my window after opening it.

Location is super good, just around the corner of the Nanjing walking street which is a great shopping area. There is a subway entrance just down the street, which can take you to lots of places of the town and all the way to the Pudong airport
Room is spacious and clean although the decor is a bit old-fashioned.
Service is good and professional, very helpful as well
Highly recommend as a city hotel

In very good location,it's clean,staffs are friendly and helpful,only problem i think is about breakfast,as a four stak hotel breakfast can be much better, also breakfast time is until 10:30 but usually from 10 they don't charge foods again and you need ask them to charge, i stay there for 2 days and both days had this problem. When you inform time for breakfast you need to have all foods and charge it until the last minute .

Just perfect! Excellent location, delicious food with plenty of options for Western tastes as well as Asian. Good sized rooms, comfy beds and top class linens and towels. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

The hotel is beautiful, the location is excellent. I have some notes. The deposit was paid twice, once through Trip and another time at the hotel. They forced me to pay a deposit again. The second note: The hotel does not have rooms for smokers. Also, the toiletries in the bathroom are incomplete. You must request them.

Stayed one night after spending 4 nights earlier part of my holiday. They allowed me to keep luggage with them while I was off to Hangzhou for 2 nights before returning. Had a little issue with a leaking tap and the service staff was there within 5 minutes of my call and resolve it in another 5 minutes.

The service from the front desk was shockingly bad. I had quite a few bags and they didn’t even offer to assist me, bringing my luggage in or taking my luggage up after a horrendous experience at the front desk for checkin. I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences in China what the staff at the hotel were extremely ****** and when I asked to have a discussion with the manager, they started to laugh led at me and make fun of the fact that I wanted to speak with a manager. The manager was, however, was understanding and she says maybe the staff were having a bad day and perhaps that is why they were behaving in an  unacceptable ****** matter, but she didi promise that she will address it. I think trip.com needs to look into this matter as it ruined my entire experience.

Weather was abit chilly back in early April and thankfully the location of the hotel is amazing, not far from metro station and from all our dining needs. Room was spacious and perfect for all our needs as a newly wed couple. Highly recommend.

The location of this hotel is definitely a plus point. We are just a stone throw away from Nanjing Buxing Road. Love how convenient it is for us.
There’s this really good bao shop located near the hotel too. And we missed it so much!
Direction: Exit from the hotel main entrance, turn right. Follow the walking path. Along the way, you could grab a cuppa but do note that the cafe don’t accept cash, strictly by e-payment only. You’ll see the yellow signage (the Bao shop!) when you reach a cross junction. Just to be sure, Nanjing Buxing Rd is right across the street. ☺️
The hotel’s buffet breakfast spread was great too!
Apart from all of these, the only thing that we were disappointed in was the front desk staffs. They were pretty snobbish and ignorant. The hospitality were not up to par with how great the hotel was.
Amenities wise, do note that you have to pick it up from the front desk. Toothbrush/toothpaste set, vanity necessities (comb etc) have to be requested.
