Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Hongqiao North Reviews

We accidentally have to stay in Shanghai since we can't book any bullet train tickets to Yiwu. Booked Holiday Inn Express hotel by online when we're stuck in Hongqiao station. But gratefully our rooms are upgraded by hotel staff and she assisted us with her smile and politely Not only that, even when I asked for help using the freezer, the staff immediately took me to the kitchen to store my items. Apart from that, the hotel's location is also very convenient, besides the convenience shop, fruit shop, laundry, there are also restaurants, food stalls and even a mall which is less than 200 meters from the hotel. I will definitely stay at this hotel if I return to Shanghai, especially Hongqiao station

The best thing about the hotel is absolutely the front desk staff, who were professional, polite and helpful! Definitely coming back!

The hotel is good; calm and serene with very good breakfast. It is also very affordable. However, it is a bit far from most attraction sites.

Very top-notch service. They were helpful to us in every aspect and it was a very clean hotel. Breakfast had a lot of options to choose from overall I am very satisfied with this hotel and would absolutely stay there again. 

Stayed here since planned to take early morning train from Hongqiao Train Station. Due to bad weather my train was cancelled but I forgot to advise Cindy at reception who had thoughtfully arranged an early taxi for me. Well, this morning Cindy texts me to advise that car was here, but, of course, I did not need the car any more. I explained and apologized and then she advises that she had sent a take-along breakfast (bread, yogurt, egg, banana) to my room via a robot since my departure was to be before breakfast. What great service from Cindy!! Her attention was greatly appreciated. Normally I would not stay here in this area since my business is far away in New Pudong, but wanted to be closer to train station. I will definitely stay here for those special occasions of an early train. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast (the real one in the restaurant) was better than expected. Also, great fruit shop nearby as well as tons of restaurants.

Hotel stuff was so friendly. Especially Cindy, she welcomed me very nicely and arranged everything. one of the greatest stay in Shanghai. Thank you Cindy.

Hotel Room size and cleanliness was pretty good. Had English speak staff at reception which is challenge in most Hotels in China. Would suggest to make breakfast better as there were too limited options for international travellers. Nothing for vegetarians expect some boiled vegetables and fruits.

Highly recommended! The front desk is friendly and accommodating. She even called a taxi for me to go to the railway station. 👍👍👍

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Shanghai. Ask for Lily when you arrive.
