Just what we needed, after a 12 hour drive en route to skiing in France. The hotel has everything, a really nice mexican restaurant with superfast service, a bar for a night cap, and quiet rooms for sleeping 🙌 The breakfast is amazing, you can eat and eat 😅 We will definetly come back next time we go skiing 🥳

The room is small, the suitcase is a bit difficult to open, there is no kettle in the room, you need to go to the front desk to borrow it. It belongs to the domestic seven-day standard. The prices in Munich, Basel, and Berlin on my itinerary are about the same and the lowest grade. The dark carpet used in the room feels dirty. The service is not bad, and the sanitation is not bad. It is two stops away from Vitra where I need to go by tram No. 8

The location is very good, the room is very chic, very special, with a large balcony, easy to dry clothes. The stay at the Hotel City Lörrach was overall OK. The rooms are quite new and the sauna area is very beautiful. However, the theme service is not just big in this hotel. Our rooms were partly cleaned only once during the four-day stay. When we advertised this, we received the answer from the Housekeeping “I had a holiday...” The federal police stationed in the hotel did not disturb us, but it was also necessary to take care of, that food is filled with breakfast buffet... Also on our demand, it was called “panny cakes and croissants are no longer available” and it was already 8:30. Maybe there would be a good compensation to provide the sauna for hotel guests free of charge, Similarly, other small things you are habituated with 4 stars houses: bath livers, bottle of water for greeting and so on.

The Goethe guest house is located towards the end of town and is therefore somewhat removed from the hustle and bustle of the pedestrian zone. Very quiet and yet very central. Very close to the train station, from here you can explore the entire Munster Valley to Basel and Freiburg free of charge with the guest card. Excellent breakfast, nothing to be desired. Staff super friendly. We'll be back next time when you visit the Black Forest!

Huge room, excellent service (manager personally guided us in for the last part of our drive), very nice breakfast, best location in town (restaurants and shops are steps away), secure parking in basement. Look no further when staying in Loerrach.
