Thought parking was free for 1 car per room - it was not - expensive and tight - selected street parking that you were right for.

3 day short break the food was delicious and very good value for money, portions were sufficient room was clean, small but comfortable beach within walking distance shopping facilities just a few meters away -pool much too cold -room cleaning only after request, although there was a card outside saying that it should be cleaned -buffet was plentiful, but pre-baked rolls were left lying around for too long and eventually became too hard, small bowls for jam would have been desirable, no variety on offer -dishes were partly dirty, choice between natural yogurt and quark would have been desirable -staff seemed fake friendly except for the Italian, male waitress -dinner on 3 evenings was not a day where everything was available, despite it being on the menu, especially with daily specials that are served for a very reasonable price, banal things like croquettes and potatoes should be available. All in all we had 3 lovely days and the negative things are nitpicking at the highest level. We felt comfortable and would come again, just to test whether the negative things have been improved.

We have now eaten at the buffet several times and nothing has changed. The food is only lukewarm, very greasy and not replenished enough. There is also not always serving cutlery. At Easter there was enough lukewarm kale, which in my opinion no longer belongs on an Easter buffet. The whole salmon was just lying in the bones and was not replenished. A very unkempt, lukewarm buffet, and this has been the case every time we visit, with the hope that it will get better. A very strange concept and a very unfriendly boss who does not accept criticism. This was the last time we were there. We are locals and will not recommend the food to anyone.

Light and shadow... we ate there and it was simply delicious... friendly service, nice outdoor seating and all at a fair price... yay, we'll go there again... no sooner said than done... but the second time only the friendly waiter from the first visit was left... and unfortunately it wasn't just us... an older gentleman remarked that the plaice should have been thrown back into the sea when it was caught because it was so small... at the next table the beef fillet *****s were commented on with "they had to die several times". We also had plaice twice... unfortunately ours was also more than manageable... the bacon cubes were very, very heavily fried... well, that was unfortunately nothing. Maybe the chef was just having a really bad day?!

Whitsun 2022, we went there for a spontaneous meal for the first time. The service was absolutely friendly, the food was top-notch and very plentiful. Next up are the giant currywurst and scampi. After this wonderful experience, we are already looking forward to our next visit. We were very satisfied!

Due to an emergency hospital stay, we were unable to use the room we had booked. We wanted to find a solution and contact them by phone. Unfortunately, no one answered the phone for several hours. At some point we managed to get through to a female person with an accent. She was VERY unfriendly and uncooperative. We then sent a cancellation by email, but did not receive any confirmation from the hotel. So the cancellation had not happened for us. We then decided that we wanted the room after all, but only for one person to occupy it. We then wrote another email to say that we did want the room. There was no response to that either. There was this unfriendly person on site again, who we couldn't talk to. The room was no longer available for us and had already been given to someone else. That means they are now charging us twice! It's a disgrace. We know it's different from other hotels. There was always a nice solution. They could have at least offered us a different time, but nothing came. There's really nothing you can do in an emergency and a little empathy would have been appreciated. The unfriendliness (which also came across in the previous emails) was underlined again. There were even threats to call the police. We are now stuck with the costs and the hotel is making twice as much money. "Thank you very much for that". Please think about whether you want to book there. Very unfriendly and uncooperative.

We stayed at the hotel for a weekend. The room was small, the bathroom was clearly showing its age, the towel rack fell out and the so-called "heated indoor pool" was only 18 degrees. The hotel management responded rudely to complaints and did not react. The only positive things were the staff in the restaurant/bar and the food. But we will not be coming back.

On August 20th, 2022, 4 of us ate at Petersen's country house. The outdoor area is well-kept, there are enough seats and there are some very nice beach chairs with tables in front of them. The male waitress with a modern haircut and accent then brought us to the table. Shortly afterwards he came to take the drinks. A little later the menus came. From then on, unfortunately, things went downhill: not a minute after receiving the cards, we were asked what we wanted to eat. Well, if the menu only contained 2 dishes, we might have been able to make a decision in that time, but like this... No, we still need a little time. Shortly afterwards, a female dark-haired and slim waitress came to take the dishes. My wife, who had a birthday, still couldn't decide and our friend said he already knew what he would have but he's just a guest here. The lady said: oh, so you're JUST a guest here? She took all the cards except one and I watched her angrily slam the cards on a table in the entrance area. When our friend said that he was the only guest here, it was my wife's birthday, so she decided how the evening would go. But the poor woman must have misunderstood that. From then on, we realized that we should never come back here. We were avoided, empty glasses were left standing. We also had to ask for the food, which we had to wait 90 minutes for in a restaurant that was half full. The waiter's comment was: well, you ordered too late. No, and an: oh sorry, I'll take care of it right away, would have been nice. There's nothing negative to say about the food: the quality and quantity were absolutely top-notch. During the meal and when clearing the dishes, not once did anyone ask: is everything OK, did you like it? The food can be as good as it can be, but if the service undermines the chef's efforts, a second visit is unfortunately out of the question. If the two of them have left this beautiful establishment, we would be happy to come back. Conclusion: we would not recommend them. P.S. we are not tourists, we are from Timmendorfer.
