As we live in São josé dos Campos, my wife and I decided to kick off our Golden Wedding Anniversary festivities at the best hotel in town, the Golden Tulip. Arriving at he hotel, the reception crew were smiley and courteously, aiming at treating the bride and groom. We spent a superb night, surrounded by courtesies offered by Mr. Fabricio Felipe, General Manager, aware of the very big date. Champagne in an ice bucket, fine chocolate and strawberries aside, red heart balloons, etc. The high floor room, facing the banhado, very much comfortable, with all facilities at hand, was the perfect nest for the couple.

We have been hosting this hotel several times in the last 10 years. Since the pandemic started we have only been hosting again this weekend. What a disappointment!!! Quality of everything fell dramatically. The bed and bath clothes are sweet and incardent, the sweaters smell the bab and dirty head, even asking for a exchange, they found no one in acceptable conditions. We left the hotel at 8:30 and left the warning to clean the apartment at the door. We returned at 12:30 and found everything we left. We called the door and heard the complaint passed to the responsible sector. At 13:30 no one had appeared to clean the room, we called again and heard from a telephone indignant with the second complaint that the cleaners work until 16:30 and that before that, someone would clean the room. I exposed my disappointment with this answer and heard a ”I'll see what can be done.” After half an hour, she seemed a very requesting counsel, apologizing for the ”delay” and explaining that she and the faxine that accompanied her worked alone for the The hotel was cleaned up. The hotel was cleaned up at the highest floor and the hotel was down. As we were at the fifth floor, it wasn't yet our turn. The quality of the food they serve in the morning breakfast is bad. The air conditioning of the apartment was connected but practice did not work. TV only picks up open channels with a very bad quality image. Even ... is not worth the money to stay in this hotel.

The room we stayed was in good storage, good shower, good bed clothes, but had no shampoo available, we had to leave the room at 1:00 a.m. to ask at the reception. We arrived to drink coffee at 9:45, without coffee and hot milk at the buffet, and had to drink coffee from the 3-heart machine of the restaurant at 10:00, and they told us to take anything more we wanted and dismissed the whole buffet. I thought this was an insensitive thing that was incredible, that never happened to me, even in a small hotel, a little bit of roadside, and worse, that was a weekend when we were normal to sleep a little more. The hotel staff are very educated and gentle, and there is no complaint about their treatment, and the dissatisfaction is about this sdruxul order, certainly from the management. I used Ibis network hotels for more than 15 years, but after this disorder I would only return if I had no other option.

The hotel offers excellent accommodation and services. The rooms are in Ibis standard, with large bathrooms, comfortable beds, fridge, closet and table. Breakfast and restaurant menu are good and the price is expected. My only relief is that entering and exiting cars can be hard, because the entry is narrow and it is uncomfortable to get out on the next street. In addition, the hotel is close to a viasted, which, although it gives access to a nearby shopping, depending on the time, can be filled with sign requests and sellers.
