FERGUS Style Tobago - Adults Only

Location was near both beaches and nightlife without being so close as to be annoying. Rooms were nice and beds were comfortable.

The hotel is good, staff very friendly and willing to help, the buffet faultless with a wide range of well cooked food. Probably the smallest double room I have ever stayed in in a 5 star hotel - it was smaller than a Travel Lodge room with even less storage. Space saving construction with the bathroom incorporated into the bedroom - I prefer a solid door rather than frosted glass toilet door, What really let the hotel down was room servicing which at best was haphazard - they did both adjacent rooms and came back an hour later for hours. In 6 full days, we had to ask reception to have the room serviced after 4pm on four occasions

I must be the only one on here that wasn't keen on this hotel It most is def not a 5 star in my eyes Everyone different I know but for us we won't be back We found the hotel very boring and the atmosphere round the pool is non existent some of the bar and dining room start were rude We moved 3 times at breakfast once as the waitress kept moving us The second time we were eating and went back for more when we came back our table was cleared and someone else stood there My goodness a bit rude when we hadn't finished Had to start again and get another table Unbelievable Breakfast was ok nice to have a choice of bacon, no black pudding and it was always cold the food We glad we only did three days couldn't have stayed any longer Maid trying to get in on a morning at half 8, hang on love we're on holiday lol We didn't get room cleaned as she came that early she didn't come back Reception staff are nice but nothing special life guard sat miles away from pool looking like she doesn't wanna be there god it was depressing Give it a try obviously, this is our opinion but we def won't be back Plenty more to choose from 👍

What a fabulous stay we had. Staff were helpful, friendly and professional. A lovely surprise of a birthday cake and bubbles. Cocktails lovely. Food was sublime! Yes, the swimming pool was on the cold side, however this did not spoil the holiday in any way. Fantastic location. Walk across the road to the beach. We will most certainly be back!

Our honest pro’s and con’s list below, I hope this helps people thinking about using this hotel as it is not 5* and a sea view room means lots of noisy revellers waking you up at 4am returning from Magaluf PRO’S Excellent staff, nothing is too much trouble Location to the beach and bars and restaurants is great Evening buffet where we ate once was very good with plenty of choice Cleanliness around the hotel was good Free safe in the rooms Drinks prices were very reasonable €5 a pint €5.50 for sangria glass CON’S Very small rooms with little storage and a very intimate bathroom and toilet Hotel is very close to Magaluf so every morning around 4am we were woken by drunken revellers on the street outside our hotel A lot of the pool area is in the shade until lunchtime, the areas that get the sun first thing are full of Bali beds that you have to pay for from €40-€100 per day, I don’t expect to pay 5* prices then pay to sunbathe everyday The gym is only free weights, no cardio machines or bikes TV only had 2 English channels despite logos on the tv for several others We reported a faulty plug socket to reception and this was never fixed Entertainment was very rarely advertised, we stumbled upon a saxophonist one night, had this been advertised we would have loved to watch the full set If you wanted to smoke you had to leave the hotel grounds and go onto the street, not ideal in a bikini. We did share some of our thoughts with the hotel and they kindly allowed us a free meal on the last night which was very much appreciated but certainly didn’t make up for our disappointment.

Little oasis of a hotel tucked in the corner of Palma Nova. Easy walking to the Palma nova resort or the magaluf beachfront which was much nicer and quieter than I expected. Staff at the pool bar wait on you hand and foot, lovely drinks and amazing food, I recommend the croquettes! Breakfast was great, lots of freshly cooked items and the hotel is spotlessly clean. The only downside was the beds in the double room, 2 singles pushed together you can fall between the gap! And the beds were very firm and gave me backache after a couple of nights. Pool areas both lovely, yes you have to pay for the Bali beds but they are amazingly comfy and we paid €65 for a whole day with 6 glasses of wine brought to you by the lovely waiters anytime you want so we felt it was worth it. If you don't want to pay, they ensure people don't leave towels on the sun beds all day if they're not using them so there were always beds free.

There are a few downfalls for this hotel, although the hotel is clean and modern it is most certainly not a 5* hotel in our opinion. Firstly, there are extra costs throughout the hotel specifically for sun-beds around the pool. Secondly, the service at reception on Thursday (30th May) at around 11:55pm ish was insanely rude. This individuals tone and attitude was disgraceful and they didn’t offer a resolution to our problem. Thirdly, the hotel became insanely loud at night with people running up and down the corridors and screaming until around 1am. As a result, our sea view room was extremely loud and this is a huge downfall to the hotel. There are also other inconveniences in this hotel such as the room we were in didn’t have an iron, the shower seal has gone which floods the bathroom floor, the hotel forgot to give us bath towels and then wouldn’t deliver them to us (not 5* service) and the design of the pool means there is a lack of sun in the morning. It is important to note if you book through Jet2 the map shows Magaluf as below the hotel which is not true. Subsequently this decreased in our opinion the rating of the hotel. In general, this hotel is nice and service from the reception when any other staff member is there is absolutely outstanding and they have gone to extra lengths for us.

Modern hotel with very clean and well maintained rooms, nice views from the balcony, friendly hepful staff. Both breakfast and evening buffet were of top quality The skybar with the additional swimming pool on the top floor is an extra positive element
