Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi

Mixed feelings about this place. The hotel itself is OK. Not really five star but nice. The rooms are small. Our room on the second floor looked out over and old air conditioner. When we asked to be moved, the staff told us “we are stuck between two buildings. None of the rooms have a nice view”. It feels like the hotel is working at 20% staffing rate. Couldn’t get an evening drink in the bar/restaurant. No seating. We had two breakfasts. One was great (the eggs done an way). The second was pancakes. They were OK but the maple syrup on the menu was replaced with pancake syrup. Not what you expect from a $400+ per night hotel. The maid service was outstanding. They carefully refreshed and organized our room. Room service was only available 8am-8pm. Again not what you expect for the $. Overall, I would not probably not stay there again. Feels a little like you are paying for what it used to be and not what it is today.

Hotel Santa Fe

The hotel shuttle was excellent. Our hats off to our driver Rick! Would not have wanted to walk to the plaza area due to it seemed a little sketchy. So The shuttle took us everywhere and picked us up. The hotel itself had authentic native decor which was nice but it felt old and stale. Service from all the staff was excellent!

The Sage Hotel
3.7/597 Reviews
The Sage was recommended to us by good friends. From making the reservation to arrival, check in to checkout, the entire experience during our several day stay was most positive. The rates were very reasonable. We were warmly greeted by the staff upon arrival and whenever we were in the lobby area. We were given pertinent details as to amenities and directions when needed. We want to highlight certain staff members: Philip who gave us great travel advice, especially with snowy conditions. He has a wealth of local knowledge. Diana and Abril were always greeting us with smiles and courtesy. Jason, the chef and kitchen guru, has such a positive friendly attitude. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and had many items to offer. It was so nice to be welcomed into a warm inviting atmosphere every morning. He was upbeat and did all he could to make us and our travel group welcome. When the weather turned very cold and snowy, he even helped us clear our vehicle of ice and snow. The small bar has a great fireplace and music or an activity almost every night. Our room was very comfortable. We like the open spaces and landscaping between buildings. The hotel is also very accessible to local attractions. We will recommend it to our friends who want nice comfort, reasonable rates, and a great staff.
