This resort is the only place I would stay in San Miguel. The property was beautiful with both hotel rooms & residences. We stayed in a 4 bedroom residence with our own rooftop hot tub & fire pit. It was 4 stories but had an elevator that went to every floor. The views from the rooftop were beautiful. The resort had a great rooftop restaurant, a gorgeous pool area, a beautiful courtyard that served breakfast, a wonderful bar where you could enjoy cocktails in or out, and just an all around beautiful place. The location wasn't right in the center if town, but it was a short walk. I look forward to going back.

Spent 1 night here on a brief tour of San Miguel de Allende. The hotel was nice, rooms seemed newly done so everything was very nice. Had an ok dinner at the restaurant and a shot of Cristilano Tequila which was amazing. The lobby had a small game room with a pool table, fooz ball table, and the open restaurant lobby area had tons of places to sit and hang out. Huge pool as well. We walked to the nearby Mercaod Sano on Saturday morning and have a lovely breakfast and enjoyed some live music and market - cash only.

El hotel a pesar de no estar en el centro de la ciudad la ubicación es buena, muy fácil de llegar. A unos metros encontrarás una pequeña plaza por si tienes que hacer una compra de urgencia. Al llegar encontrarás un lobby amplio y muy bien iluminado. La propiedad cuenta con diversas amenidades, una alberca con agua tibia, un pequeño bar junto a la alberca, gimnasio, pista de correr, canchas de tenis y nuestra tarifa incluía el desayuno. La limpieza en la habitación es muy buena y cuenta con secadora de cabello y herramientas de planchado. En general la relación de costo/beneficio considero es muy buena. El único punto negativo que encontramos es que el lugar puede llegar a ser muy ruidoso, en la habitación se podían escuchar las pláticas y la música del staff de house keeping, la aspiradora y movimiento de equipo en una bodega que estaba cerca del cuarto.

We recently had our wedding in San Miguel and so much of our wedding week went smoothly thanks to Clandestino (Pila Seca location). We had all of our friends stay in this hotel and everyone absolutely loved their rooms. There is a bar downstairs (at the pila seca location) and breakfast was provided each morning. Which was so helpful when traveling with a big group. The staff was so helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They helped us set up rides for all of our guests to and from the airport. There is a restaurant that opened upstairs recently, which was so convenient and came with a great view and vibe. I am so happy we decided to have all our guests stay here, a week later and they are still raving about the place.

Room facilities are generally the look of a fast hotel. For the price of SMA, the price/performance ratio is still relatively high. If you go to the center, walk 15-20 minutes. This is not a distance. When you arrive in a tourist city, you can go around everywhere. There is a microwave at the front desk to heat food and water. There are more Mexican restaurants nearby. There is a sushi restaurant. The hotel checks in at 3 pm. There are vacancies to advance. The service is very good. The waiter can't speak English and can communicate with translation software.
