Out of all my travels in China, this was hands down the BEST hotel I’ve stayed at—and that’s saying a lot. From the moment we arrived, the level of warmth and genuine care from every single staff member stood out immediately. The front desk team was incredible—friendly, patient, and impressively multilingual, which made everything so much easier since my Chinese is limited. But what really made this place unforgettable were the people behind the scenes. The aunties who cleaned our rooms were honestly some of the kindest, most thoughtful people we encountered on our trip. They didn’t just do their job—they went above and beyond in ways that made us feel truly cared for. The kitchen staff were just as amazing. Every interaction felt warm and sincere. They even folded our laundry when we accidentally keft it in the dryer. And let’s talk about the breakfast—phenomenal. Not only was the quality outstanding, but the menu changed daily, which kept things exciting. If you’re debating whether to add breakfast to your stay… just do it. The overall vibe of the hotel is serene, peaceful, and elevated—it genuinely feels like a 5-star experience. And it always smells nice. Location-wise? 10/10. You’re within walking distance of many of Guilin’s main attractions, and right outside the entrance is a lively night market and shopping area. It’s the kind of convenience you don’t fully appreciate until you have it. I was booking for my family, which included three seniors, so my priorities for hotels were: location, cleanliness, safety, and accessibility. This hotel checked every single box—and then exceeded expectations in ways I didn’t even anticipate. If you’re considering where to stay in Guilin, pick this one 10/10. This is a genuine review written from someone who just stayed there and was traveling with her family from California :)

The hotel is located near the city center. I think the hotel is good for this price and I loved the bathtub. But the only problem is that my window was directly facing the trash station which was not a good sight plus the trucks made a lot of noise that disturbed my sleep very early in the morning. The receptionist was really kind and friendly. She helped with my DiDi order and responded to messages on WeChat quickly. I’ll definitely stay in this hotel again.

The room directly overlooks the artificial lake, which is absolutely beautiful. If I were to visit again in March or April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it would be truly magnificent. The breakfast was also quite enjoyable; I even got to make my own waffles, which were wonderfully fluffy and soft, just like the ones my grandma used to make back home. The environment here is also very relaxing and pleasant.

I highly recommend the Guolong Hotel! The biggest surprise was the huge parking lot – there's so much space that both family cars and business vehicles can park with ease, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. The front desk service was absolutely excellent; the staff were warm and thoughtful, handling check-in quickly and efficiently. They even proactively offered tips for local attractions, which really enhanced the whole check-in experience!

Location: It was really convenient with lots of food & bbt options around. Sightseeing is all within walking distance. It was 20 min drive away (11am) from Guilin North Railway Station (~ CNY 15) and 10 min drive away (8.30am) from Guilin Railway Station ( ~ CNY 12). Receptionist: Anna 小安 & Wendy 小文 were very friendly & informative and shared with us on locals’ favorite food & restaurants. Upgrade Room: We were given free upgrade from standard to extra room space twin. Love it! They allowed us to check in early too! Cleanliness: The room was spacious, clean & neat. Bed was comfortable too! Cons: Soundproof can be improve, I can hear the next room kids’ sound (maybe because they were just too loud) when they were playing during the day. It was quiet & peaceful at night with no issue. Tips when visiting Guilin: Do check the weather! I checkin on 28/4/26 and it rained almost the entire day, so I had to skip a lot of my sightseeing itinerary.

The best decision I made on this Yangshuo trip was choosing the Seasons Cloudscape Resort! Located within the Yulong River Scenic Area, the hotel offers breathtaking views of continuous karst peaks right from your window, making it feel like you're living inside a flowing ink wash painting. The environment is absolutely five-star. But what I want to praise the most is their 'heavenly' butler service, which was so attentive and thoughtful it was truly moving. From the moment the booking was confirmed, the butler provided full-service assistance via WeChat: sending transportation guides, recommending itineraries based on our preferences, helping us book restaurants in advance, and even arranging a complimentary room upgrade for one night. They were also incredibly accommodating to all requests from my child. The freshly made Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were authentic and delicious, and the complimentary afternoon tea and travel photography service were also very impressive. If you're looking for a hassle-free and comfortable trip to Yangshuo, this is definitely the place to choose! Highly recommended for all quality-seeking travelers!

Very satisfactory stay experience. There is a light fragrance as soon as you enter the lobby. It is very comfortable and upscale. The girls at the front desk are very enthusiastic. The room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is also rich. A mini bar is also provided. I really recommend it. Friends who come to Hechi can choose it without hesitation.

I always feel safe and secure staying at All Seasons Hotels. The elegant and comfortable lobby with its natural wood design is instantly relaxing, with hot tea served as soon as you enter. The rooms are clean, bright, and the Ji Mian mattress with latex pillows is incredibly comfortable, and the soundproofing is superb. The smart voice-controlled lighting and air conditioning are very convenient, and the bathroom features a separate shower and toilet with a reliable hot water supply. The service is warm and attentive, and the 24-hour laundry room and gym are very useful. The breakfast is authentic Chinese style, and the freshly cooked noodles are delicious. For its price, All Seasons Hotels offers top-notch design, comfort, service, and value for money. Whether for business or leisure, All Seasons Hotels is always the first choice.

I really have to commend the service here. They're incredibly responsive and practically anticipate your needs, always proactively thinking about what guests might require. The staff's attitude is also exceptionally good. In a humid climate, it's hard to completely avoid that slightly damp smell, but all visible areas were spotless. The facilities are quite new, and there are plenty of elevators so you rarely have to wait. The location is very convenient for getting around, and there are many night markets and street food nearby, making it perfect for tourists. I was traveling with a friend, and we added an extra bed. The extra bed is only suitable for smaller individuals, but it was quite comfortable. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the food tastes good. I especially enjoyed the Guilin rice noodles. The room was spacious and attractive; it didn't feel cramped even with three of us. The hotel seems to be the tallest building in the area, offering excellent views. The night view was particularly beautiful. It was a wonderful trip, and I'll likely choose this hotel again next time I visit.

Vienna Hotel is located on the north bank of the Liujiang River. This time I live in the 21st floor river view room. I can see Wenhui Bridge, Panlong Mountain Waterfall, Twin Towers. The scenery is very good. I can see the fountain at night. I go out and go to the left hand side. 100 meters is the five-star pedestrian street. It is very convenient to eat, live and travel. The room and bathroom are very spacious, the breakfast is also very rich, there is a warm and loving reminder at the stairs, which provides convenience for tourists to travel and recommends staying. Liuzhou in spring is full of flowers, kapok, bauhinia, rhododendron, bougainvillea, and the streets are beautifully decorated! Praise 👍
