I highly recommend the Guolong Hotel! The biggest surprise was the huge parking lot – there's so much space that both family cars and business vehicles can park with ease, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. The front desk service was absolutely excellent; the staff were warm and thoughtful, handling check-in quickly and efficiently. They even proactively offered tips for local attractions, which really enhanced the whole check-in experience!

1) This hotel is literally situated on the China-Vietnam border. From my room window, I could see Vietnam, and the front desk even warned me that if I had an iPhone, it might pick up signals from the neighboring country and my time zone could change. The rooftop observation deck offers an even better view of the border scenery, encompassing both Dongxing in China and Mong Cai in Vietnam. 2) When I booked on Trip.com, I specifically requested a non-smoking room, and the hotel front desk truly delivered! The floor and room were genuinely free of any secondhand smoke. Honestly, in a fourth-tier city in (what is arguably the world's number one country for secondhand smoke), this was a rare and pleasant surprise. 3) It's quite close to the Dongxing Port, just a 5-minute walk away. If you want to experience the charm of a border town right from your room, and if you appreciate clean room facilities and fresh, natural air, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Upon check-in, the front desk attendant upgraded my room to the 49th floor. The view is fantastic, offering a panoramic sight of the Liujiang River, and the night view is equally stunning. The room size is decent, though some facilities could use an upgrade. For instance, there's no master switch by the bed, so I had to get up to turn off the lights before sleeping. The curtains aren't automatic, and the bathroom only has a handheld shower, no rainfall showerhead. They also only provide two bottles of water. Overall, the service was good; the front desk lady accommodated my request for a late checkout. For breakfast, the gravy for the freshly made Guilin rice noodles was quite tasty, but the self-serve Chinese fried rice and dishes had limited options. The location is excellent, away from the crowded Wuxing Street area. However, Poly Plaza and the snack street downstairs offer almost all of Liuzhou's local specialties, including luosifen, tapioca pudding, and duck legs. It's also very convenient to catch a taxi to tourist attractions.

Choosing the right place to stay in Guilin is so important! This hotel is perfectly located right in the city center, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and buying local specialties, with a lively commercial area just outside the door. You can walk to Dongxi Alley and Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, and it's also close to Elephant Trunk Hill and Jingjiang Princes' City, saving a lot of travel time. The restaurant upstairs offers fantastic views. The hotel rooms are quiet yet centrally located, with a comfortable atmosphere, easy access to everything, and top-notch scenery. It's truly suitable for family trips, friends traveling together, or solo adventurers. The location and the picturesque mountain and river views are absolutely flawless. I sincerely recommend it to anyone visiting Guilin!

With its tech-savvy rooms activated by voice command, this hotel has much to recommend itself. With its wall mounted water dispensing system allowing one to set temperature and get hot, warm or cold water at the press of a few buttons (rendering a kettle obsolete), a disinfectant cabinet for cups and glasses and a glass-fronted fridge named ”a soda fountain” where the mineral water, beers and fizzy drinks are kept, plus a motion sensor toilet bowl with heated seat, the rooms, though compact and lacking in counter and storage space, are made for ease and convenience. Among the hotel's comprehensive amenities are an outdoor swimming pool, guest laundry and gym, a tea room, a truly well furnished children's play area with game consoles and a niche for experiencing traditional crafts like fan dyeing. The attention to detail in its interior decor renders this establishment extremely camera-worthy. Its location right beside the serene Ronghu Park means the bulk of the rooms faces the lake with its panoramic vistas. A pity the television has no English language channels, not even their national CGTN.

This is the best Wyndham hotel I've stayed at so far. There's plenty of parking, the soundproofing is excellent, and I slept very well. The breakfast incorporates some local specialties and has a wide variety of options. It would be even better if the lobby had a display area showcasing local specialties from various counties.

The location is incredibly convenient – right in the city center, which was perfect for two seniors traveling alone. They could walk to scenic spots like Duxiu Peak, East-West Alley, Elephant Trunk Hill, and even Seven Star Park. The Zhongshan Middle Road right outside the hotel is a bus stop, making it easy to catch a bus to the high-speed rail station, ferry terminal, and other more distant locations. The room facilities are excellent – the room was very clean, and the bedding was spotless. All the in-room amenities were well-stocked. The service attitude was outstanding and thoughtful – since it was two seniors traveling alone, and they didn't speak Mandarin very clearly, they needed a lot of assistance from customer service. However, all the hotel staff were incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive – from proactively helping with luggage upon arrival and setting up Wi-Fi, to immediately sending travel and food guides for the hotel's vicinity via WeChat, assisting with local tour group pick-up arrangements, and even helping with mobile phone issues. They went out of their way to help without a hint of impatience, which made the seniors' 'independent travel' journey much more reassuring. The quality and attitude of this hotel's staff service are truly exceptional, especially compared to other hotel customer services we've encountered both domestically and internationally. Price: We stayed during the low season in Guilin, and with a Ctrip promotion, the price was very good. Fantastic value for money! In summary: There are many hotels located near this one, but this hotel's service is truly outstanding, and the rooms are clean, significantly enhancing the travel experience. I highly recommend it for travelers with elderly family members or those traveling with children.

This stay was a truly pleasant surprise! As soon as I entered the lobby, I noticed a subtle, pleasant scent. The room was exceptionally clean, not a speck of dust even in the corners, which made me feel very comfortable. What I loved most was the big bed; the mattress was just the right firmness, I just sank into it. The duvet and pillows were so soft, it felt like sleeping on a cloud. I slept soundly until morning, completely relieving my travel fatigue. The hotel's location is also super convenient – just a short walk to the subway station, making it easy to get to attractions and shopping areas. Taxis are readily available too. And the food scene around here is amazing! Downstairs, there's a snail noodle shop recommended by locals – the broth is delicious, the noodles smooth, and adding duck feet just takes it to another level. In the evening, you can explore the nearby night market for grilled oysters, sweet soups, old friend noodles… so much to eat, I couldn't try it all! The service was also incredibly warm; the front desk lady had such a sweet smile and proactively upgraded my room. All in all, this stay was incredibly comfortable, it felt like coming home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town, and I highly recommend it to friends who, like me, prioritize cleanliness and comfort!

The room directly overlooks the artificial lake, which is absolutely beautiful. If I were to visit again in March or April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it would be truly magnificent. The breakfast was also quite enjoyable; I even got to make my own waffles, which were wonderfully fluffy and soft, just like the ones my grandma used to make back home. The environment here is also very relaxing and pleasant.

JjinappleThe hotel is located at the southern end of West Street, right next to Pantao Road, absolutely in the city center. There are countless restaurants and bars nearby, and a food street right downstairs, making dining and leisure incredibly convenient. To accommodate guests who prefer quiet, they upgraded us to a family room. The electric scooter rental is through an external vendor, not directly operated by the hotel, so the price is a bit high. I suggest the hotel either operates this service itself or clearly states it's a third-party rental. Breakfast is simple but sufficient.

WWangwangxiaolibaobaoThis hotel truly lives up to its recommendations! Even on a weekday during the off-season, there were quite a few people. The hotel environment is simply exceptional, and what's more, the dining is impressive – both the afternoon tea and breakfast exceeded expectations! The lobby doubles as a cafe and restaurant, offering views of the pool and Yulong River, plus the mountain scenery. Why bother going to another cafe when everything you need is right here at the hotel? We arrived directly at the hotel entrance via a bamboo raft from the Yulong River scenic area. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, including one with an incredibly delicious beer fish. The room was absolutely fantastic, with two large floor-to-ceiling windows facing the mountain and pool, offering a superb view. You can step right out to the pool for a swim, making it very relaxing. Although the weather wasn't great, the misty, cloudy day actually added a unique charm. The toiletries were Acqua di Parma, and the scent was lovely, which shows the hotel's thoughtfulness. Hot water was instant, no waiting needed. Definitely a hotel worth revisiting!

GGuest UserAdvantages: package pick-up, boss warm and friendly, quiet environment, with terrace. You can blow the air at night, and you can hear the sound of the waves and the sound of the wind blowing through the banana leaves. It is too convenient to watch the sunrise in the morning, and it takes a few minutes to walk to the southeast seaside. (Come to a hotel location map) Also, the hair dryer in the room is Leifen, which is very useful. It is very important for girls who wash their hair, who understands it. There is also a tram rental at the entrance of the hotel, which is super convenient for renting. In addition, the hotel decoration is American retro style, but the kind of time, very beautiful, but not time. Disadvantages: The location of the hotel is slightly biased, it is not good to come back at night, and there is no food nearby. However, if you have a companion, there is no problem, and it is not tired to ride a tram. I don't live in the net red street but avoid noisy, in short, it is recommended. If you want a holiday, you can live here.

AAnonymous UserChoosing the right accommodation truly doubles your happiness when visiting Yangshuo! This time, I stayed at the Weiboo Mountain Villa Hotel (Yangshuo West Street Branch), which perfectly balanced convenience and tranquility. The value for money was exceptional, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Yangshuo. The hotel's location is absolutely prime, situated at No. 36 North Road, Yangshuo County. It's just a 5-10 minute walk to the heart of West Street's commercial area, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, and enjoying a drink at a bar. Yet, it manages to avoid the street's hustle and bustle, offering a wonderfully peaceful experience amidst the vibrancy. Transportation around the hotel is also incredibly convenient; you can walk to the Li River, ride an electric scooter to the Ten-Mile Gallery in about 15 minutes, and it's not far from Xingping Ancient Town or the Impression Liu Sanjie scenic area. It's ideal for both independent travelers and families. Stepping into the hotel, I was immediately captivated by its New Chinese style. The ground floor features a traditional Chinese courtyard with beautiful bonsai and a pond, creating a misty, ethereal atmosphere perfect for photos. The public area also has a tatami tea room that offers complimentary coffee and tea, making it a delightful spot to relax, sip tea, and chat. The most surprising feature was the 800-square-meter sky garden on the 5th floor, boasting a 360-degree observation deck and an Instagram-worthy infinity pool. With Yangshuo's iconic karst landscapes as the backdrop, you can watch the Li River sunset on a clear day or admire the mountain mist on a rainy day. Every picture taken here turns out stunning; my friends couldn't stop snapping photos. In the evening, they even host open-air movie screenings here, which, combined with the gentle breeze, creates an incredible ambiance. The room decor was equally impressive. The minimalist yet tasteful interiors are complemented by large, bright windows. Some room types even come with a scenic balcony and a separate bathtub, allowing you to enjoy the green mountains and waters while bathing. Our mountain-view king room was spacious and impeccably clean. The smart home features were very convenient to use, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a restful night's sleep. For families, the duplex panoramic king room is perfect, featuring a private viewing terrace and a swing, spacious enough for the whole family to gather. The thoughtful service was evident in every detail. The front desk staff were cheerful and enthusiastic, happy to answer all our travel questions, and even helped us book tickets and plan our itinerary. The hotel thoughtfully provides free electric scooter rentals – the pink and green scooters are super eye-catching on the road, and riding them to the Yulong River for rafting or through the Ten-Mile Gallery was incredibly enjoyable. The breakfast was truly generous, offering Guilin rice noodles, assorted grains, eggs, fruits, and soy milk – all plentiful and delicious, providing a perfect start to the day's adventures. Additionally, there's a children's play area, self-service laundry, and luggage storage, making it stress-free for those traveling with kids. For just over 100 RMB per person, you can stay in a scenic room and enjoy so many high-quality services – the value for money is truly exceptional. Whether it's a romantic getaway, a trip with friends, or a family vacation, this hidden gem of a hotel nestled among the mountains and rivers will meet your needs. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yangshuo!

GGuest UserThis was a fantastic stay! The front desk staff, especially the lady who checked me in, was incredibly thoughtful. She not only upgraded me to a suite for free but also included complimentary breakfast, which was a huge bonus. I chose a room with a balcony facing the street and was initially worried about noise, but the soundproofing was surprisingly good; my rest wasn't disturbed at all. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the heating worked perfectly. It was raining during my stay, and the hotel proactively contacted me via WeChat to help arrange laundry and drying services, which shows their exceptional attention to detail. The hotel is called ”Versailles,” and the overall experience truly lived up to the name. The location is also very convenient; it's about a 15-minute taxi ride to Guilin Station, and there are shared electric scooters downstairs, making getting around very easy (though I'd recommend a taxi if it's raining). I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserRoom facilities: We booked a twin room with a bathtub. The room was quite spacious, clean, and had a charming, somewhat 'hipster' layout. Value for money: During the off-season, a room for 300+ RMB felt like great value for money. Location and transport: It's very close to Elephant Trunk Hill, Sun and Moon Pagodas, Li Zongren's Residence, Jingjiang Prince City, and East and West Alleys. If you like walking, you can get to them all in about ten minutes, or you can rent shared e-bikes. The staff were all very enthusiastic and friendly. Room view: The view from our room was of a hospital, which was the only downside. However, the excellent service made me overlook this minor flaw. Service: Highly recommend! We truly felt at home. Firstly, I was traveling with two children and was already a bit tired from their boundless energy. When we arrived at the front desk, they taught the kids how to make wellness hammers. In the evenings, they would bring us sweet soup, and at breakfast, there was a dedicated auntie making coffee for us, truly achieving 'coffee freedom'! Thumbs up! I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Guilin. It's fantastic!

GGuest UserHad an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.

HHaoyunlailyyThis hotel in Yangshuo was such a pleasant surprise! You get amazing mountain views right from your room. The rooftop 'Sky Mirror' offers stunning panoramic views of the winding Li River – it's like a built-in filter for your photos, every shot looks professional! The hotel's location is excellent, right next to West Street, making it super convenient for exploring and dining. Plus, there's free parking, which is a huge bonus if you're driving. They offer a complimentary buffet breakfast, and the rooms are spacious. I loved relaxing on the balcony sofa during the day, just unwinding and enjoying the mountain scenery, and then watching the sunset in the evening – it felt like time just slowed down. The room I booked even had a soaking tub, and bathing while looking at the mountains was incredibly relaxing! For anyone looking to escape the city for a bit, a weekend here is truly rejuvenating!

BBaoheshuimianThe entire stay was a terrible and frustrating experience. First, my takeout order arrived at the ground floor at 8:20 PM. After waiting about 25 minutes for it to be delivered to my room, I politely called the front desk. They told me it was being delivered by a robot. I waited another 5 minutes and still didn't receive it, so I called again to inquire. Only then did the front desk actually confirm that the concierge on the ground floor hadn't placed the order in the robot. It took three phone calls from me and 40 minutes for one takeout order to get from the ground floor to my room. Second, my reservation included late check-out, and I confirmed this at check-in. On the day of check-out, the front desk called to say I had already exceeded the check-out time. Only after I reminded them did they bother to check my booking details. In both instances, they offered a verbal 'we are very sorry' – probably knowing that as a guest, I couldn't really do anything about it. But in reality, one problem led to another, and the entire system, from central coordination and communication to the front desk service, completely fell apart. I originally chose The Luxury Collection over Shangri-La. Now, I've learned my lesson and will choose Shangri-La. There are many 'cloud' hotels (referring to high-end hotels) everywhere, but not every one of them is as annoying as The Luxury Collection.
