They say your first impression of a city is made by its people. When we arrived in Guilin, it was already evening. The staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming; they immediately helped us with our luggage and gave us a detailed introduction to local specialty foods, attractions, and the hotel itself, which saved us a lot of hassle. They even kindly guided us to our room – very nice! Finally, I have to mention the hotel's 9th-floor 270-degree panoramic restaurant. Not only is the food delicious, but it's also a fantastic spot for photos, offering views of half of Guilin city. The hotel manager was also very humble and polite. Highly, highly, highly recommend!!!

The hotel room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable with soft linens, perfect for a good night’s rest after a long day. The room had decent lighting, quiet air conditioning, and all basic amenities including hot water, toiletries, and free Wi-Fi that worked smoothly. The space was tidy, with enough storage and a small seating area to relax. The bathroom was modern. The mountain views was spectacular. Overall, it’s great value for money, comfortable, and I would happily book this room again.

The room directly overlooks the artificial lake, which is absolutely beautiful. If I were to visit again in March or April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it would be truly magnificent. The breakfast was also quite enjoyable; I even got to make my own waffles, which were wonderfully fluffy and soft, just like the ones my grandma used to make back home. The environment here is also very relaxing and pleasant.

Outstanding hotel, highly recommended. The rooms are large, comfortable and practical, with lovely views of the river. The bathrooms are especially nice, with large bathtubs. Breakfast is varied, with an excellent range of delicious food. The staff are extremely polite and helpful: they were able to check me in even at 3:00am after I arrived on the night train. The cleaners are quick, thorough and efficient, too. The staff provide thoughtful gifts like free oranges for Spring Festival. The hotel is well located for getting around Wuzhou, and all the taxi drivers know it. There seems to be lots to do within the hotel, too, including restaurants, a spa, a KTV lounge, a tea house and a swimming pool, so it would be excellent for large groups too.

The room layout was simple yet comfortable, and the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – leading to excellent sleep quality. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and thoughtful; they proactively helped me plan my Guilin trip and even offered complimentary breakfast. Starting the day with a freshly brewed coffee really boosts your spirits, and the Guilin rice noodles were authentic and delicious!

The hotel lies secluded in the middle of a beautiful patch of nature. They have a beautiful pool and a separate children's pool. The style of the hotel is very beautiful, like a secluded villa where you can indulge in luxury. The staff is top notch, very friendly. I highly recommend communicating via wechat, as that let's them give you the best service possible. All my requests were met quickly friendly and efficiently. I will point out you need some very good protection against mosquitos as the area around Yangshuo has a lot of them, so don't let that ruin the experience of this beautiful place by being unprepared. The only room for improvement I could find would be the breakfast. It is by no means bad, especially for China. They have some options, but I have had similar or even better breakfast in other hotels that have less stars. I cannot emphasise enough how beautiful the area and the hotel is. I recommend renting an electric bike to tour the area near the river. The rental service next ro the hotel provides tips with navigation included! Again, use wechat to communicate with the friendly auntie renting out the scooters.

I always feel safe and secure staying at All Seasons Hotels. The elegant and comfortable lobby with its natural wood design is instantly relaxing, with hot tea served as soon as you enter. The rooms are clean, bright, and the Ji Mian mattress with latex pillows is incredibly comfortable, and the soundproofing is superb. The smart voice-controlled lighting and air conditioning are very convenient, and the bathroom features a separate shower and toilet with a reliable hot water supply. The service is warm and attentive, and the 24-hour laundry room and gym are very useful. The breakfast is authentic Chinese style, and the freshly cooked noodles are delicious. For its price, All Seasons Hotels offers top-notch design, comfort, service, and value for money. Whether for business or leisure, All Seasons Hotels is always the first choice.

I really have to commend the service here. They're incredibly responsive and practically anticipate your needs, always proactively thinking about what guests might require. The staff's attitude is also exceptionally good. In a humid climate, it's hard to completely avoid that slightly damp smell, but all visible areas were spotless. The facilities are quite new, and there are plenty of elevators so you rarely have to wait. The location is very convenient for getting around, and there are many night markets and street food nearby, making it perfect for tourists. I was traveling with a friend, and we added an extra bed. The extra bed is only suitable for smaller individuals, but it was quite comfortable. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the food tastes good. I especially enjoyed the Guilin rice noodles. The room was spacious and attractive; it didn't feel cramped even with three of us. The hotel seems to be the tallest building in the area, offering excellent views. The night view was particularly beautiful. It was a wonderful trip, and I'll likely choose this hotel again next time I visit.

GGuest UserYangshuo Accommodation | The Ultimate Value-for-Money Gem on West Street – You Won't Believe It! 😭 Seriously, to everyone visiting Yangshuo, listen up! Don't just pick any hotel! I've stumbled upon BO·PO Hotel, and it's an absolute must-stay! Location and experience both get a perfect 100% 💯 It's hands down the best option for accommodation when exploring West Street!! Who can resist the joy of West Street being right at your doorstep?! The hotel is right in the heart of West Street, literally steps away from snack streets, creative shops, night markets, and bars. You can easily find Beer Fish, Luosifen (snail noodles), and all sorts of Yangshuo specialty snacks just by walking out. When you're tired from exploring, you can just pop back to the hotel and relax, no need for a long trek back – it's incredibly convenient 🥳 What truly blew me away was the unique tranquility amidst the bustling city. Downstairs, West Street is buzzing with lively energy, but inside the room, it's incredibly quiet. The soundproofing is amazing; you can't hear any of the street noise. You can lie in bed and peacefully admire the stunning karst peaks. Enjoying the lush green mountains by day and drifting off to sleep in silence at night truly elevates the vacation vibe ✨ The location is truly unparalleled! For all my sisters planning a trip to Yangshuo and wanting to stay on West Street, just blindly book this one! Style, location, service, and value for money – it's got it all. It's a hidden gem that won't disappoint, truly worth every penny 💫 #YangshuoHotel #YangshuoWestStreetAccommodation #YangshuoTravelGuide #GuilinAccommodation #AffordableHotels #YangshuoTravel #InfluencerHotelRecommendation #BOPoHotel

GGuest User”Extra-Large Bathtub” doesn't even begin to describe how incredibly large this bathtub was. It was more like a swimming pool. I was in heaven. I loved this hotel, the desk staff don't speak any English but they have these little ai-translation hand held devices (picture a dictaphone that translates) and are extremely helpful with a can-do attitude. I had some urgent documents I needed delivering and the staff were beyond helpful with that, I am very grateful to them. Also upon check-in they bumped me up to a suite (I didn't ask they were just being nice) and holy moly what a room. It was fabulous. The styling of this place is very old colonial palace vibes, I know they have some history displays up relating to the war but I didn't look into it, but it had a very classic airy vibe with traditional furniture and styling and I loved it. Some elements are a bit careworn and showing their age, but everything was immaculately clean. So, yes some elements like the carpeting may have seen better days but it's due to age rather than lack of attention, everything that mattered was sparkling. My shower could have fit about 5 people in there, and the bathtub another 6, so that was a real highlight, but the location was superb as well, it is on a private little resort island right next to the lake where the pagodas and bridges are. There is an easy access exit gate to the lakes, however I think it was run by the other hotel on the island because my key card didn't work late at night, however I must admit I had had a few and maybe wasn't the most able bodied reviewer in that moment. I recommend asking the staff because each night after the lake show with the performance and music lots of families were coming in that back way, so it's definitely possible I was just un-prepared. Regardless, even if you get locked out it's a short walk around to the other side of the island and the gatemen are very friendly. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel although it is not technically run by the hotel which just means it closes slightly earlier (much later than anywhere in Europe still), and when I went in the staff were just sitting around so I wasn't sure if they were open, but when they saw me they sprang into life and actually the older ladies spoke quite a lot of English and were very chatty and friendly, and they also have an iPad with an English ordering app so it is a breeze eating there. The food was very high quality and delicious, it was more expensive than eating in town but I would not say over priced given how good it was. The bar in the hotel is also nice. You can get delivery food brought directly to your room which is also excellent. They don't have room service food but why would you bother when delivery is available. The hotel has a private drive way so getting picked up for excursions or Didi rides is so easy, and the area is beautifully quiet and there are lots of birds. It is very close to all the attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill, which makes doing things (or retreating home due to the fearsome heat) very easy. I will warn you the hotel is nicely airy in the way old villas in Europe are, but because of that your air conditioning will never match that kind of incredible ice cold blast you might be familiar with in Hong Kong. Obviously, this is a very small problem when you can easily cool off in the mega-bath or mega-shower or just sit at a comfortable level of air conditioning, but if you are the kind of foreign traveller who is unaccustomed to the strong heat just be aware that this is a vintage place so you won't be able to whack the AC down to 15c and freeze yourself for relief. I really recommend this hotel, it was absolutely lovely. Oh also there is a lovely jovial old man who comes round in the evening to deliver you milk at bedtime every day, what a guy.

GGuest UserGuangxi is such a pleasant place. After attending a concert in Nanning, I thought I'd come to Yangshuo for a vacation. For me, a good hotel can meet many needs. From hardware to software, thoughtful service makes you feel more at ease. From the moment I entered the hotel, I felt that thoughtfulness. I'm quite a stickler for details. The hotel's cleanliness, the maintenance of its public areas, and even the toiletries are all meticulously chosen. The refrigerator, kettle, and hairdryer are all carefully prepared and not just thrown in. Also, the bathrobe is incredibly comfortable! That's a rare find! I booked a room with a terrace, and sitting there in the afternoon or early morning, you can really feel the tranquility of the mountains. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and there was also an afternoon tea (the desserts were tasty too). Initially, when I came to Yangshuo, I only felt that the scenery was beautiful. But staying at this hotel, I truly realized that even in such a so-called 'paradise,' you can experience a different, perhaps even more luxurious, feeling. Honestly, if you want an excellent experience when you come to Yangshuo, you can choose this hotel. It's incredibly convenient whether you're going to eat at Ten-Mile Gallery or explore the old town. More importantly, the scenery viewed from within the hotel is absolutely twice as wonderful, without the crowds and noise (a true resort destination!). You really can fall in love with a city because of a hotel. Everything above is my genuine feeling. The hotel's attention to detail is truly heartfelt, especially the large public lawn in front of the hotel, which gives a very relaxing and pleasant feeling. Considering the guest's experience, thumbs up! (I'll attach some photos, all from my personal experience, for your reference.)

GGuest UserGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave. Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play. The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way. The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned. The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture) If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe. I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China. However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too. These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host! I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

PPipajiKicking off our spring break, we headed south through Guilin, Yangshuo, Nanning, and Beihai. Yangshuo Wangjianglou Inn was by far the most comfortable and convenient place we stayed. The inn's design and layout exceeded my expectations; the quality was truly impressive. Given the limitations of the building itself, they ingeniously installed a luggage elevator, which was incredibly thoughtful for both guests and staff – big thumbs up! Yangshuo county is quite small, so there's really no need to stay directly in the scenic area (it's inconvenient, overpriced, and you'd need taxis for meals and transportation, adding to costs). Staying in the West Street commercial district was a very smart decision. We stayed and ate at Wangjianglou (for those who know, their restaurant is a super popular, must-try spot in Yangshuo with long queues!). As a guest, you don't have to wait; the front desk concierge helps with reservations directly, and you even get a 10% discount on meals, which is a fantastic deal. I'm already planning to bring my family back after May Day and will definitely be staying at Wangjianglou again!

GGuest UserGuilin in May, with its misty Li River, was as beautiful as a traditional Chinese ink painting. I specifically chose a city-view room this time, and opening the window in the morning to the thin mist over the river, with the distant peaks faintly visible, and the air filled with the scent of damp grass – it was truly delightful. The room's air conditioning and dehumidifying system were excellent; even during the humid spring return season, it never felt stuffy. In the evening, enjoying a cup of tea on the riverside terrace, with the breeze blowing and watching the sunset paint the river gold – this is exactly what a vacation should be. The hotel even thoughtfully provided mosquito repellent; attention to detail at its best!

A special appreciation to the team for their excellent coordination and support through Trip.com, which made the entire experience smooth and comfortable. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with elegant rooms, a peaceful atmosphere, and attention to every small detail. One of the highlights was the breakfast — there was a fantastic variety of delicious options catering to different tastes, all fresh and of great quality. Another huge advantage is the hotel’s perfect location. SYYF Guilin is in close proximity to all the major attractions, making it extremely convenient to explore the beauty of Guilin without spending too much time travelling. GGuest User🚗Convenience: I drove from Chengdu to Guilin with a friend's family. The journey was long, so we decided to stay at Longji halfway up the mountain as our first stop. After looking around online and communicating with the boss, we chose Yunman! When we parked at the foot of the mountain and walked to the parking lot, the owner was already waiting for us at the door, which was very thoughtful. 🛏️Beauty: When we arrived at the accommodation, we were attracted by the scenery in front of us. Outside the balcony was the terraced fields. We drank tea and ate with the breeze on our faces. It felt very comfortable. We told the boss that we were tired from the journey and we were going to take a break and go fishing. The boss also contacted Baba Shishi for us. 🌄Excellent location: It is very convenient to walk to the scenic spots on both sides, and the night stroll in the village next to it is also very close. We went to the Jiulong Wuhu Observation Deck first because we were going to catch fish. The children walked barefoot on the stone road, and wild strawberries could be picked everywhere on the roadside. They were so sweet, the scenery was beautiful, and it was a surprise~ The adults had more fun than the children in the fishing activity😂 🏡Comfortable: We booked a twin bed, the room is spacious and bright, the balcony has unlimited scenery, the night is lit by candlelight, the stars are twinkling, and tourists who hike at night walk with flashlights. Apart from the darkness, there are moving lights as companions, as if you are in the starry sky. As a background for the balcony, it is simply amazing, haha. My friend didn't have much expectations for the terraced fields, but when he arrived during the flooding period, he got used to it, and it was also beautiful. My friend felt very good and the experience was full! 🥗Delicious: We ordered the meal directly in the restaurant. The boss asked the restaurant chef to cook the fish we caught for us. We originally wanted to do it ourselves, but our husband talked to the chef and withdrew because he felt that the chef was very professional. The chicken tasted great in two ways. This meal was the best we had on the way, bar none. The rice wine was delicious. It was a pity that we didn’t eat the snails recommended by the boss. When we left, the boss sent us to the parking lot. Next time we go, we will go there to have a good time! 👏Very good accommodation environment, with natural white noise to help you sleep at night. Both adults and children slept comfortably and woke up feeling refreshed. Yunman Tianjian is highly recommended!

QQihuyoutianxiaThe location is great, making it easy to arrange transportation. It's right at the end point of the bamboo raft cruise, so you arrive directly at the hotel. It's the first hotel in the village and has several restaurants nearby. The environment is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and lush greenery, with a Yulong River tributary flowing right in front. The hotel even offers electric scooters for exploring the Ten-Mile Gallery. Both the hotel and the rooms are very new, clean, and well-equipped. The service is excellent and attentive; all the staff are polite and greet you warmly. They deliver a fruit platter, nuts, and candied fruit to your room daily and proactively helped us plan our itinerary. The breakfast is delicious, and the 5th-floor restaurant offers the best views. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. I've stayed in many great guesthouses in recent years, but this one is probably my favorite, and the price is reasonable.

GGuest UserRight by the Li River, with Guanlian Pier just downstairs, and West Street a few minutes' walk away – it's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. Renting a scooter to explore the Ten-Mile Gallery and Yulong River was super convenient, making travel a breeze. I booked a river-view room, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows framed the Li River landscape perfectly, like a painting! Watching the sunrise from bed and enjoying the sunset in the evening created an incredible atmosphere. The网红 (internet-famous) Sky Mirror on the 9th floor is a must-visit! It offers an unobstructed 270° panoramic view of the Li River and the karst peaks – every shot looks like it's from a magazine. Looks, location, comfort, and value for money – this place has it all! If you're coming to Yangshuo, just pick this hotel blindly. I stayed here and now I just want to keep coming back! Next time I'm in Yangshuo, I'll definitely stay at Shixi Tianyue again! Highly recommend! 👍
