The hotel is fine for a quick layover between flight and cruise but I still won’t stay here again. Why? Well, the fire exit door squeaked all night sounding like a baby screaming, the clerk upon check in was rude, the shower floor was filthy, there are no vending machines and ice is only available on the 4th floor, the hotel is located in a wind tunnel, and nothing is close by unless you want to eat at the Caribe Hilton (why not just stay there is I have to go there for everything?).
i wish i had read more reviews before i booled..

Nice customer service! And housekeeper cleaned our room every day :) no pool and I don’t think it’s the best location. Also doesn’t have parking but there is one closer for 20$ X night

Location is great. Property is a bit dated. My room with a king size bed is huge. View is good. However, the cleaner did not do a good job in my unit. There is hair in the bathtub and the bidet has mold on it.

Felt safe. No issues with checking in or cleanliness. There are no vending machines. Nothing near the hotel is open early in morning. Can walk to the Hilton for Starbucks, stores, etc. (Expensive though).

After reading previous reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. We stayed for one night before a cruise. They were able to store our bags before check in. The room was clean. We had a nice view of the lagoon and enjoyed a continental breakfast on the outside deck. The location is good for sites in San Juan.

The hotel needs some updates! First time we stayed the bed, mattress, and pillows were excellent on 7th floor. The following week we were on the 8th floor and our experience was totally different. The bed and pillows were terrible and the room was really damp/mildew smelling! It was unfortunate because we had such different experiences and we were truly excited to go back. The breakfast is also only a cold breakfast. Quick to go items!
