We booked for a week in a premium Double room. We were very impressed when we arrived. The reception staff are lovely and very helpful. Our room was wonderful, modern, very clean. The decor of the hotel was minimalistic, contemporary and always spotless including the outside areas. The main food hall has a great selection of foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner and we ate there a lot of the time as our 6 year old is quite fussy. The only downside is the drinks service, it can be very slow or when the drinks eventually arrive it’s the wrong order. It got to be a bit of a joke in the end (not in a funny way) they need more staff in this area. The ginger bar was lovely with great cocktails and little snacks for kids that they could help themselves too. Service can be a little hit and miss here too but overall ok. The kids club and splash park was most enjoyable for our child with lots of activities throughout the day and evening. The snack shack was great, food was quick, hot and delicious, the service here was top notch especially from a lovely staff member called Sara. You are able together fresh beach towels every day from round the pool area, the pools are a little chilly but once you get in it’s fine. When we arrive the reception team told us to download the Meliá app so that we could book ourselves into some of the other restaurants unfortunately, when we tried to do this they only had really late availability left or no availability. As we have a small child eating at 9.30pm wasn’t an option for us. We did try out the Kanna restaurant which wasn’t that great slow service once again, over cooked and wrong drinks order arrived. The restaurant was half full, so I can’t say it was because they were rush off their feet. One morning I tried to order room service through the app and it never materialised, waited 2 hours. Had to go to reception to cancel the charge to my card. Overall this is a wonderful resort, just a few teething issues to resolve

We stayed at Paradiscus Meliá Grand Canaria for 5 days in January 2024. The hotel is beautifully designed and set in mature landscaped gardens right next to the beach. From the moment we checked in everyone was helpful and friendly and we were so impressed with our room (339) It was spotlessly clean with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the mountains. The beds were so comfortable and the housekeeping staff were on hand several times a day to clean/tidy and make sure everything was perfect. The food and drinks were delicious - in particular the Gastro Hall and Kanna - thank you to Christina for fitting us in for a last minute lunch! The shack by the pool was perfect for light snacks and drinks through the day. I had a wonderful outdoor yoga class with Isabel and Andre helped us to book into a star gazing evening - the hotel has its own small observatory which was the icing on the cake! We also had an outdoor movie night complete with popcorn and warm blankets. We will definitely be back soon - such a wonderful holiday. Thank you!

This was our second stay at the Paradisus and it felt like we were coming home! As soon as you walk into reception there is a sense of calm. The staff are so welcoming and it was lovely to see the same happy faces. They are genuinely interested in making every guest happy and nothing is too much trouble. The Reserve gives you a separate priority check-in, adult only pool, choice of à la carte breakfast and a spacious lounge where you can help yourself to drinks and snacks all day. The hotel and grounds are immaculate and our premium room was spacious with a super-comfortable bed, marshmallow pillows, walk-in rain shower, bath and lovely toiletries! Every meal was delicious with lots of choice throughout our stay. Peseta is still a highlight and definitely worth booking. Thank you to Jorge, Daniel, Victoria, Cynthia, Javier, Sara and all the other staff for making our second stay so special. Hopefully we will be back soon!

Our second visit to Paradisus did not disappoint! The hotel is still immaculate and the service is still amazing. The staff can't do enough to make your stay special and memorable. Javier in Ginger, Victoria, Daniel, Rita, Cynthia from the destination team, Sara at The Shack, Jorge the Resident Manager and many many more superb staff whose names we didn't manage to remember. They are always so happy and willing to please, nothing is too much trouble. We had a Reserve Suite on the 7th floor with amazing resort and sea views. The room was spacious with a large balcony, sofa, table and chairs, extremely large comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a soaking tub and shower. Housekeeping did a fantastic job of keeping the room clean and everything fully stocked on a daily basis. There are several restaurants and food concepts available both during the day and throughout the evening. The food we had was always served quickly and the quality was very good. Peseta is a Michelin starred food experience not to be missed. We recommend booking the restaurants in the evening to avoid disappoin**ent. Overall, another amazing experience that we can't fault and we will most definitely be returning.

Unfortunately I have to write a bad review about the Paradisus by Melia hotel. First and foremost I must say although it’s 5 star all inclusive hotel it definitely does not feel like a 5 star service. Me and my partner stayed in hotel for 7 nights, so I would like to say we got the full experience of the hotel. The service is incredibly slow from bars at the hotel to the restaurants. Staff are very inattentive. Honestly it feels that most of the staff that works in this hotel “can’t be bothered” to do anything. You could be sat waiting in a half empty restaurant for 20+ minutes and no one would even take your order and this happened multiple times. When you would get served finally they would forget your order or bring something you would not have ordered but as the wait is so long you think I might as well eat it/drink it as the correct order would take another 20 minutes. Completely everything is extra charge. Room service is €10, €10 if you want to use shower after you have checked out. No complimentary late checkouts and it’s €20 per hour to extend the checkout. Most 5 star hotels offer this free of charge if they don’t need the room. It’s the only 5 star all inclusive hotel without courtesy rooms available that I have stayed in. As for food itself it’s very bang on average. Menus are very small for each restaurant, so it doesn’t feel that you are really getting value for your money. All nice meat like steak usually is extra charge. The food in the buffet is cold with limited options and the coffee machines rarely work once that have run out of milk as they’re not refilled. Guest service phone line is non existent. You call to ask them something and they never call back or not even bother most of the time to answer the line. Overall I would like to say they really need step up their game. For the same money there are lot better 5 start all inclusive hotels. So of course guests will compare their previous experience. Disappointing overall!

The hotel is lovely. The Reserve level is well worth the extra. The specialist restaurants are great with Mascalzone (Italian) being a standout. The drinks are great and free flowing and the cocktails are really quite good too. The best for us were the staff, they simply could not be any friendlier. They wanted to help and it was important to them that you had the best experience. Well done Meliá, many hotels could do with your trsing and quality of staff. We are already planning our return holiday, which will be with the Meliá group of hotels.

This hotel was excellent. We booked into the Reserve part of the hotel which is for over 18s only. The room we booked had the sun terrace loungers and lounge bed and overlooked the pools and sea. Facilities in the room were very good and staff very helpful. We used the buffet and the restaurants for food and these were all very good. Food choices were excellent, helpful and cheerful staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel and book again

Really great stay, I went last year when they had first opened and there was a few teething problems then which has now been ironed out. All the staff have been absolutely wonderful, from the guys that run the events, room attendants, bar and restaurant staff, they always have a smile on their face and will help you with anything you may need The food was great too, you'd think that a buffet would be meh and cold, but a majority of it was well seasoned and cooked infront of you make sure you get freshly cooked food, the variations of dishes was well rounded, I highly recommend doing the buffet on a Sunday of you enjoy fresh seafood as there, if you are looking for Spainish food, then I suggest checking out Kana by the pool for lunch or dinner as the menus change! Loved the room, I was eyeing the rooms on the 1st floor with the massive balcony and day beds the last time I visited, so naturally I stayed there this time, the size of the room was perfect, as a couple we didnt need the biggest room as most of our time would be outside, however we really did utilize the balcony space during sunrised and susets! All in all, it was an amazing vacation and I plan on visiting again!

Lovely hotel, very good food and most importantly friendly staff. We had a very relaxing week in the sun. Nice selection of places to eat and although we stayed in the adults only area, there seemed to be lots of fun for families too. Recommend
