Had a fabulous 4 nights here. Stayed in the beachfront rooms which were so lovely. Are in the restaurant every night. Breakfast was lovely too. Reasonable prices for food and drinks. Beach was great for swimming. Unfortunately I was sick when I arrived & the staff organized a dr to come & collect me which was great service. I also celebrated my birthday whilst there & the breakfast staff sang happy birthday & brought out a beautiful cake… same at dinner! Very spoilt!

Myself and my family absolutely loved this resort. We stayed in a garden bungalow further away from reception and the beach. It was like our own little piece of paradise, with a beautiful little pool and the sounds of nature. We didn’t hear much traffic from the road outside, to be fair the humming of the air con muted it most of the time it was the local birds (cockerel at 4am) causing all the trouble but we just went with it and enjoyed every moment. Loved Lyms and the coffee shop and the breakfast here is probably the best we’ve had at any Thai hotel. Would love to come back one day, great beach bars local. We also did horse riding along the beach with the pirate. Such an amazing place, thank you for having us.

A very nice resort close to a fantastic beach! The breakfast is very good. The restaurant and the bar is great as well! Very friendly and nice staff! The bungalows is nice and well organized with all things needed and the beds are fantastic! To see the sunset from Long beach chalet is something I will never forget! We have to book for next year again!

We had a great stay at this resort. We stayed in the beach front bungalow. It was super spacious, great location seeing the sunset from our room and had everything we needed. The room was nice and quiet and clean. The breakfast was great and had plenty of choice. We also loved the coffee / ice cream shop on site and the massages were great too. We thought it was reasonably priced and although the service was slow at the bar / restaurant. We wernt in a rush so it was no problem. The beach was great for watching sunset and only a short tuk tuk away from the night market. The pool was great and there was plenty of loungers around the resort. I would definitely recommend this place for a laid back beach break and we loved Koh lanta. Very child friendly resort.

Absolutely love this place. The chalet was amazing and right next to the quite pool (two pools at this resort). Bar on the beach, with a nice cafe. The long beach itself is a very long and wide sandy beach with great sunsets, we were still swimming in the sea in the dark. You can hire mopeds at the hotel and then explore the island further, we drove down to the national park and stopped for lunch on the way. Road is safe and quiet. Short transfer to the harbour to catch the boat to Ko Phi Phi.

Beautiful hotel by a beautiful Beach. The rooms are great with Air condition. Shower / bath room is Nice. Excellent service and Nice staff. Nice restaurant. The reason its 4 stars instead of 5 stars are because you have to pay everything in cash (or if you use a credit card they charge additional 10%). But very happy here. Stayed for 4 nights. Might come back :)

Recently spent four nights at Long Beach Chalet and, overall, completely understand why it gets such positive reviews. The beautiful beach front setting is idyllic (and a nice combination of sun and tree shade), the grounds in general invite complete relaxation, the room was beautiful, clean and well-appointed, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. We fell short of a five-star review because: 1) Before arriving, we were under the impression that it was a full-service operation with regards to tours, etc., but we were basically handed a binder with outside options to look into ourselves. We could, and did, but it was a bit disappointing and surprising. 2) While the food was excellent, the service at Lym's was sub-par in terms of excessive wait times (even when not busy) and friendliness. Definitely not typical Thai warmth and hospitality from our experience. The tone seemed to have been set by the SV there at the time and was probably the least welcoming and attentive service we experienced in Thailand. Maybe we were just there at an off time, but we ended up eating off-premises a lot. 3) The pool, while nice, was full of kids the entire visit, making it an unattractive option for adults. Of course kids have as much right as anyone to be there, but some adult-only hours would go a long way. 4) The massage pavilion is right on top of too much activity and noise. Plenty of room elsewhere on the grounds for a more peaceful setting. All in all though, great place!

Garden lofts need to be rename to road lofts! Imposible to sleep, feel like you sleep in the busy road. Id you want ruined holidays, yes, come here! You can forget about calmness. Roud is very busy and very very loud. Also all the loft squeaks and tresses. Not recommended.

How we envisioned this hotel was not as expected! It was sadly let down by the poor customer experience. The positive; lovely breakfast and the breakfast staff were both friendly and welcoming! The negatives; After a 12 hour journey to the hotel, we had to wait in the boiling sun in the parking lot for ages, then had a lukewarm and unwelcoming checkin …again left to fend for ourselves to find our room, traipsing all over the complex with heavy luggage with no help! The beach bar was advertised as relaxing but the staff either ignored you or when they did it was with distain. We stopped eating at the hotel after two days as we found another hotel up the beach which offered better food, a proper cocktail hour and lovely service …sadly what this hotel was missing!! After all.. would not go back due to the poor customer service!

You arrive at the resort down a long driveway through some scenic grounds, which is a nice surprise considering the sights on either side of the approaching road. There are roadworks along the main stretch as they work to improve the road and pavements themselves, and, depending on your perspective, the jumble of minimarts/shops/eateries/hole-in-the-wall-bars, etc., can look a little tacky, however all that changes once you are actually on site. There is currently some construction going on as they add more accommodation to the site (we were notified in advance, but it was certainly not intrusive at all for us) but basically at the end of the driveway there is the reception/massage area, the main bar/restaurant (Lym’s) and a cafe bar (Escape), then beyond those, the beach. Lym’s is where the entertainment takes place (Elvis is a classic), plus where you can eat lunch/evening meals. Breakfast is served in a covered area next to Escape (breakfast is great - loads of food, eggs cooked to order, all super tasty and filling). The breakfast area is open to guests to sit in should the rains come, but nothing else is served there throughout the rest of the day. This means that Lym’s can get a little busy as there are only so many tables available (you can reserve) but if it rains, there are maybe eight tables to fight over. There is also a pool area next to reception. The beach is soft sand with a few small pebbles/reef bits in it. There are loads of sun beds and bean bags and large bean beds, plus a few covered platforms. You sign out beach towels from reception (and sign them back in again), and the same applies to the paddles for the paddle boards. No costs though. The rooms are varied; we had a garden room with a semi-private pool (shared with the other rooms near us) but it’s much closer to the main road than the beach, although that was no problem for us. It’s not overly noisy considering there’s a main road there. Our room had a balcony plus a large area beneath it with a kind of double bed and a rope swing/seat (there are also rooms with hammocks) for chilling out in. All in all, lovely.

This hotel is comfortable and maintained well. We booked the deluxe seaview villa and were very happy with the room, comfort and amenities. We love that water is included in the room and the reception is always very friendly and helpful. This place is our go to in Koh Lanta!

Can’t say enough about this resort. The staff went above and beyond what was needed. Beautiful setting but the staff made the visit.

I went solo for this trip but the resort is amazing and would love to go back with my family next time. The staff were great, the room is spacious, breakfast buffet were delicious and the resort amazing! They offer tours and motorcycle bicycle. They have also arranged a pick up and drop off to/from Krabi airport. The island itself were not very touristy therefore things/food are not overpriced like others. I highly recommend to visit Krabi and to stay at Long beach chalet!
