Had a lovely short stay at Auberge Basque. We took a garden room which was very cute and well decorated. The only downside was it was next to the carpark and road which was noisy and you could only have natural air by opening the back doors - We didn't want to use the air con so at night the room was a bit hot. The 6 course tasting menu was fantastic with some very interesting flavour mixes!

This is a charming property with an excellent restaurant; the food and wine pairing offered was exceptionally fine. Our room was beautifully appointed, and the hotel serves as an excellent base for exploring the lovely basque region.

Hôtel charmant, dans le style basque, entouré de verdure. La personne de l’accueil nous a aidés à monter nos bagages jusqu’au deuxième étage. La suite n’est pas très grande , mais l’espace de cette ancienne maison est utilisé au mieux. La décoration , soignée, est faite avec goût.Belle vue sur la campagne. Le restaurant étoilé est excellent. On voit les cuisines, les mets sont délicieux, originaux , légers. Les serveurs sont très aimables et à l’écoute. Le chef passe voir chaque convive en fin de repas. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner est parfait.

Excellent séjour. Cuisine de haut niveau avec une originalité extrême des saveurs. Un chef présent et disponible.Hôtel très agréable avec un petit bémol : les lampes de chevet ne sont pas individualisées donc petit problème quand votre conjoint lit longtemps.

Un moment magique une réelle découverte gastronomique avec l association mets vins exceptionnels. Le cadre, le service et la vue sur la rhune complètent un tableau déjà enchanteur avec la mise en place de la table .Nous reviendrons avec un immense plaisir.

Belle auberge bien aménagée, intimiste, agréable. Le service y est parfait. Sans prétention, d’une gentillesse exemplaire. Les installations sont récentes, les chambres confortables, les espaces généreux. La table vaut clairement son étoile Michelin. Une cuisine de la région réinventée, goûteuse, originale dans les préparations comme dans la présentation. Bravo. Seul petit bémol, pour un nord-américain la climatisation dans la chambre est un peu faible. Mais c’est un détail. Un mot: parfait
