I stayed in one of the superior rooms (I think that’s what it’s called) and there was lots of space and a big terrace to sit out on and enjoy the sunset. The bed was large and comfortable although whilst I did not hear any noise from outside, I certainly heard other residents coming and going from their rooms.
There is no air-conditioning in the room. Not a showstopper, but just something to note.
Everything was very clean however, the shower which is located in the bath could really do with a shower curtain. It’s very difficult to have a shower without flooding the bathroom floor.
I had dinner in the attached restaurant and I have to say it was the best food I ate in France for my entire trip. I sat outside and watched the world go by and I really enjoyed the experience.
The staff were excellent and I cannot rate them highly enough. I would however suggest that one additional member of staff is on duty in the mornings for breakfast. The lady that was on duty did a superb job but there was certainly too much work for one person to manage the breakfast and the front desk, while guests are checking out and other guests are eating breakfast.
The car park is small, but adequate. There were several cars and motorcycles parked up and whilst it is not a secure car park it certainly feels safe.
