Firstly, Sa Coma as an area is absolutely beautiful, lots of shops, restaurants, great beaches & always clean, no litter. Now to the hotel itself. Protur Badia Park is a lovely hotel, very clean. What was not advertised when I booked with TUI is that the hotel is exclusive for a German travel company which a sign outside the hotel stated. Before I am attacked for being anti German, let me explain. Reception staff spoke Spanish & broken German, so was a struggle communicating when we had an issue. TUI do not have any reps that visit the hotel, when an issue was raised with a Rep in a neighbouring hotel, they even said, “oh, you’re at the German hotel! During our week stay, think there were 4 English couples. As I said, the hotel itself is clean BUT as a four star I would have expected a little more. No kettle in rooms & only 6 English tv channels which kept dipping out of signal so often un-watchable . As someone who struggles to sleep, a TV is a must in the early hours. Cocktails were horrible, but local branded drinks were fine. Staff not overly friendly. An information pack in the room would be helpful, you had to scan an App in reception but this only gave you basic info. Pool towels were 10 euros each & could only be changed every 3 days, we used our own. Recommend B.I.A Steak House Pizzeria over the road from the hotel, great food & Sangria was amazing 🍹

I don't often write reviews, but I just had to after having a fab experience here. Last minute booking, so what a wonderful find! Stayed here for a fabulous week with my mum in Sept. Hotel was perfect... I cannot express how wonderful all of the staff here are. They literally can't do enough for you, and they all work so hard keeping the place immaculate! Special thanks to to the wonderful Ruth and Anna on reception for their kindness and efficiency, they both put themselves out to help me. Such lovely people. Also huge thanks to lovely Nuria on the poolside bar, who made me smile every day! You can always get a sunbed around the pool at any time of the day, which was fantastic, I had read this in other reviews and it was true! Theres nothing worse than having to get up at 6am on holiday to put towels out on a sunbed, I hate doing it, its not right, but none of that here! We also couldnt get over how straight and neat the sunbeds were each morning! LOL Great job! We took the All inclusive option and were not disappointed! The food here was incredible, loads of choice, fresh and constantly being replaced so nothing ever ran out. Desserts were to die for! The only slight issue for us was that there were lots of under 5's staying at the hotel (fair enough its a family hotel!) but it could feel hectic/ noisy at mealtimes) Restaurant is open in the evening from 6.30pm to 9pm. Advice from me, is to go later, after 8pm and its a little quieter. Hotel was spotlessly clean in all areas. We also took advantage of booking the other restaurants available to you within the complex (5 -10 mins or so stroll away behind the hotel) We tried the Italian and the Thai, both were a lovely change from the hotel restaurant. Be aware you need to book these in advance, so if you want to try any of them, please book on your first day (Italians gets booked up very quickly as they only have 1 sitting per evening at 6.30pm, and its very popular) Our 1 bed apt was absolutely beautiful, big rooms, comfortable beds, hairdryer, fridge, fantastic aircon, (set at a constant temp so you never had to touch it) fab pool view. Super bathroom/shower and plenty of mirrors! The only slight issue was that the sofa beds are really hard, so not good if you had to sleep on these for a week. Cleaned 5 times a week so always fresh towels etc Loads of great activities at the hotel for both adults and kids! The hotel is in a great position, 5-10 mins stroll down to the beautiful beach and 5 minutes from the nearest shops. Be aware, the sunbeds on the beach cost 35 Euros which included a drink at the nearest beach cafe. Cheaper beds/umbrellas which are 18 Euros, are further along the beach. I would definitely recommend and use this hotel again (I will be trying the Adult only Protur next) and I'll be promoting Protur Hotels to everyone I know! Thanks a million to everyone at Protur Badia Park Hotel. We'll be back! x

Text: Lovely clean hotel, nice pool, always plenty of sunbeds. Quite areas too. Always a good tasty selection of different food available. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very quiet in the night. Has A mini disco for children, international songs that all children joined in with. Low key evening entertainment. A family friendly hotel....nearly everyone had young children-might have been time of year but I can imagine this hotel is always popular with families, unfortunately this made meal times noisy! But sitting outside or going slightly later at night helped. Sa Coma is a nice beachside holiday destination. Thank you to the staff

Lovely clean hotel, nice pool, always plenty of free sunbeds. Quite areas too. Always a good tasty selection of different food available. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very quiet in the night. A family friendly hotel....nearly everyone had young children-might have been time of year but I can imagine this hotel is always popular with families, this made meal times noisy! Majority of guests were German. Some guests appeared to be unfriendly, bad mannered and lacking parental skills!!!!

We loved our holiday to this hotel! I kept checking reviews before we came and there wasn’t much to go off being English but honestly don’t let this put you off! Check in was really quick and the receptionists told us everything we needed to know. I recommend checking in online on the Protur website as this saved us time at check in. The rooms are new and completely adequate, walk in shower and enough space and very clean! The food was the best all inclusive we have had, so much choice! Freshly cooked meats every evening, a theme such as chinese, Indian, Italian. We went to 2 of the a la carte, the country grill and the cardamom and again really good, tasty, excellent choice and quality food! Drinks are fine, usual all inclusive, lager, 3 wine choices, cava and local spirits, 3 cocktails to choose from included. We went to the small water park on the complex it cost 36 euro for 2 adults and 1 child, there is a few slides for toddlers and just 2 slides for any older children, a swim up bar and you get your usual drinks and a nice lunch. Just good for a change off scenery. The complex offer sports such as mini golf, tennis, bikes to hire etc. it was so hot when we stayed that we just did the mini golf. Aqua gym in the pool most days from 12. Water polo for adults a couple of times in the week. My son enjoyed using the small football court at the back of kids club, it was good that this was in the shade for a break from the sun. The evening entertainment was kids club and then an act until 10.30 which was usually quite good and all entertainment was in English too, the kids club staff also spoke English so don’t let this put you off. The hotel was mainly German guests but this didn’t spoil anything and there was also English guests there too. We got a taxi to Cala Millor one night and had a meal at a tapas place on the front called Cafe Mint which was nice, good cocktails. We would like to return at some point!

We booked our stay through love holidays, staying with 2 adults & 2 5 year olds. The hotel exceeded expectations from the moment we arrived, the surroundings were scenic and hotel clean and luxurious in feel. The staff were all so friendly & welcoming, brilliant with the children. Our apar**ent was spacious with a separate bedroom from the children, decorated well and very clean. The cleaners kept it lovely all week & we had no issues. The only thing missing was a kettle! However the coffee machine was great so not an issue. We had read this was quite a 'German' hotel, and there was a lot of German families and all entertainment was in English, Spanish & German however this was not a negative at all, everyone was so friendly. Never had a problem getting a sunbed, always some available & this was the middle of the summer holidays! There was so much to do around the other Protur hotels, mini golf, splash park and water park a few minutes walk. (The water park cost extra but well worth it and reduced price for all inclusive, around 40 euros for all of us). We had a fantastic stay here and would 100% return, thank you for a wonderful holiday!

August 2023 Clean hotel with good amenities for kids good location. Hotel is a German hotel so it was very difficult to understand what the animation team/kids club even the staff spoke to you initially on German. Wouldn’t go back due to this. It spoilt the kids club for my kids. Good varied pools, deep and splash. Nice food. Daughter is coeliac they could make her a pizza or pasta on request but does have to be ordered the meal before (Eg breakfast for lunch or lunch for tea) was very nice though. Buffett food was clearly labeled with allergens too. Would recommend hotel for coeliacs. All inclusive drinks were Estrella local wine and sprits, they advertised many branded drinks and cocktails but they were to pay for. The AI cocktails weren’t good, we stuck to g&t and rum&coke. Room was lovely and cleaned regularly The main issues we had; we had booked a ground floor apar**ent and arrived in the middle of the night with two young kids and were put on the top floor. The next day at 8am when reception opened I went to move and they moved the rooms for us. We got a ground floor apar**ent which was much better. After we had switched rooms I asked for information about the hotel, amenities, meal times etc but the reception said I must come back later as they were too busy with check ins. Tried again that afternoon to be told to come back tomorrow. A few days in got the information requested from reception but it was a shame the welcome wasn’t as helpful as it should have been. All in all had a lovely family holiday and if you went to this hotel I’m sure you would too. For us we just wouldn’t return due to the heavy priority of the German guests which had a heavy impact on staff. Hotel also has sister hotels that you can use the facilitators off eg mini golf, play park/splash bootable restaurants x4 I’ve added some images for help with info

Went here with my 2 teenage sons for 12 nights. We normally go to a different country / island every year and book an All Inclusive place. This year we chose Mallorca as we never have been. We wanted a place away from the madness of Magaluf and La Palma and opted for the east coast. The Protur Badia Park Aparthotel is part of a big complex of hotels run by the Protur company. They are all connected to each other and you can use all the facilities to a certain extend....food and drinks only in your hotel except the prebooked a la carte restaurants. Hotel and rooms are very clean and the hotel staff is very friendly. Hotel is mainly booked by Germans and everything is directed in that area as well. Staff all speak or at least understand German, which results some times in funny looks when you try to speak Spanish or i.e. English to them. I still believe that when you visit a country, you should at least try with the usual phrases to show respect to the people. Good morning, good afternoon, good night, please and thank you isn´t that hard in any language. Food is provided in the main restaurant, snack and pool bar and the earlier mentioned a la carte restaurants. Depending on the length of your stay you can book those restaurants 1 or more times during the holidays. The main buffet restaurant provides a good selection of different food and they have different theme nights for the food as well. As we have visited a lot of different All Inclusive places in the last 17 years, we kind of knew what to expect. The food choices here were however not as repetitive as other places we have been. Quality was very good and there was something for everybody. We never had to wait for a free table at any stage and everything was cleaned up promptly as well. Entertainment was directed towards smaller kids with a kid disco every night at 20.30 hrs ....afterwards was an entertainment for older guests as well. A variety of artists, singers and dancers provided an easy entertainment. The pool was a decent size with lifeguards present from 10.00 - 18.00 hrs. There was plenty of sunbeds and we found 3 spare beds together at any time of the day. No need to reserve any of them. All in all, we did enjoy the holiday and can recommend this place.
