The room I stayed in was very clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing me to get a good rest at night. The hotel staff was very friendly and professional and made me feel right at home. What is particularly worth mentioning is the hotel's assistant lobby manager. He is very warm and considerate. No matter what needs I have, he will patiently and meticulously help me solve them. His service attitude and professionalism made me have a very good impression of the hotel. Although the hotel is a little far from the seaside, there is Suning Mall next to the hotel, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. A good hotel with really nice, hard-working staff. Not the best view (our window looked out onto the street, super awkward) but it's a pretty good location in the city if you're not aiming to visit the mountains or anything. The only downside was the breakfast - not really the best selection for a buffet. It got way too busy and it was difficult to find a table; one morning they ran out of clean plates so a lot of visitors were hovering around and grabbing plates as staff brought them out. The wait to use the single coffee machine was too long, and at one point they just took it away and replaced it with coffee pots. All things considered it could have been worse.

The food and beverages in the hotel are average. The Zhunyang vegetable shop said that ordering rice at 7 o'clock in the evening is for shopping. Are there any other dishes? There are more people except for the rib meal, and the two zero people are pitifully few. During the peak tourist season, hotel services are mediocre, there is a lack of sanitation and storage of items, and there is a need to call for delivery. The hotel is really nice when it comes to the decoration and the quality of items you find here and there. Yet, the service was rather confusing. I accidently booked a room with no windows, and, as i only stayed in Rizhao for two days and already travelled around for a bit, decided not to bother changing it. The heating in the room was okay at first and unbelievable later on; i literally couldn't fall asleep the whole night. When i asked to turn it down in the morning, i was suggested to change the room again. When i refused, they eventually turned it down, but just a bit, so i had to keep the door ajar pretty much all the time, which is not a pleasant experience in itself. I found some fruit later in the room, which was a nice gesture, but I'd rather be able to breathe normally 🙃
