The hotel sits nestled between the Wind River Mountain Range, Absaroka and Owl Creek Mountain Range, and is the Gateway to Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Teton Mountains. We have standard rooms and studio suites. Each room features a 32" flat panel LCD TV. I stayed here with my border collie adventuring over the weekend of the 4th, and was so comfortable I stayed another night. Riverton has got everything you need, nice little town, and I could spend another month exploring the park and lake and canyon. This is the second-most expensive hotel of two chains in town, a hundred bucks cheaper than the new one next door though - you should stay here instead. The location is on the end of town where it's quiet, and there's plenty of room to walk your dog. It's a quick walk across the parking area to a convenience store and food. (Drive to La Luna for Mexican though!) The hotel is being renovated but the annoyances were very minor. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was fantastic - they had a little trouble with the computer when I checked in, so my stay was discounted the first night. The housekeepers were very professional and helpful, and you could tell they worked as a team and appreciated each other. It was quiet and easy to sleep. I don't know when I'll be back this way but - I'd stay here again.
