We loved our stay in this beautiful, historic hotel. It was once a medieval bishop's palace, and, before that, formed part of the Roman fortress! The staff were fantastic, from the reception to housekeeping to waiting staff. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and, as in the rest of the hotel, beautifully decorated. Everywhere in the hotel was spotless and we loved the decor. The hotel was perfectly situated right in the centre of the old town, we could walk to everything. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful - especially the speck (bacon) and the extensive cold meat and cheese selection. We wished we had a longer stay so we could sample more of it. We ate in the restaurant as well and the food was very good. All in all a perfect stay, with just a few things to mention below, but they in no way spoilt our holiday, we had a fantastic time in this beautiful city and we are so glad we chose this hotel. Negatives: - no kettle in the room, hot drinks available from the restaurant but this got pricey - street noisy on a Saturday night until 2.30am, no air con in standard doubles so windows needed to be open. Fine on Sunday night - quiet - shower over bath hazardous for those with mobility issues, had I realised this I would have booked a different room

a very nice hotel with very good rooms at the middle of old town and close to pretty much everything if you come to regensburg. great first experience for this place. stayed for 3 days at a mid-range choice room which was great and very suitable to my needs. some drawback, the pillows were uncomfortable and the mattress a bit on the hard side for me. al and all manageable. the hotel staff is very accommodating, especially the young receptionist (not her manager) that always very happy to help and assist with everything. i highly recommend this place for business and pleasure!

We stayed one night in this lovely boutique hotel. It is close to the Stone Bridge and the restaurant is excellent. Our room was very quiet and had interesting window designs on the top floor of one of the buildings. We really loved the setting and it is a perfect place to stay to visit the old town section of Regensburg.

All the sights of the city close on foot; parking place next to the hotel - in the underground for a discounted price of 13 €/ day; very good breakfast; helpful staff from reception, restaurant to buffet breakfast; clean rooms

I had booked a suite on line and was very pleased with our suite in the 'new' wing of the hotel - spacious, well appointed and quiet. The new wing is located right next to the cathedral and we found a way inside the cathedral literally just outside of the entrance of the accommodation - excellent! We had lunch at the hotel restaurant which serves traditional Bavarian fare of very good quality. Breakfast was also good and the service levels of all the team members we encountered were excellent - very friendly team members. The only issue: better signage to find the hotel in the old town of Regensburg...the car park is rather difficult to find.

Awesome old building, beautifully renovated, alongside huge Dome with amazing bells. Lovely outdoor cafe area and great room! I’m centre of old town. Parking was a challenge but staff super helpful. Felt grand and luxurious. Shame that the streets are super noisy making it hard to sleep well.

Wir waren 2 x für jeweils 2 Nächte im Hotel Bischofshof, und es hat uns beide Male sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage ist grandios, mitten in der Stadt, direkt neben dem Dom, 5 Minuten zur Donau und steinernen Brücke. Sehr schöne geschichtsträchtige Anlage (und daher Ziel diverser Stadtführungsgruppen) mit einem wunderschönen Innenhof, in dem sich ein Biergarten befindet, wo man sehr gut essen kann. Parkgarage direkt am Hotel für 15€/Nacht. Man kann aber auch versuchen auf einem kostenlosen park&ride Parkplatz nicht weit entfernt zu parken. Beim ersten Aufenthalt hatten wir ein Standard-Doppelzimmer zur -obwohl mitten in der Stadt- relativ ruhigenSeitenstraße mit ausreichend Platz und einem geräumigen Badezimmer, bequemen Betten und einer Minibar. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Es gab einen Teppichboden, was ich immer nicht so schön(weil nicht so hygienisch) finde . Beim zweiten Aufentahlt hatten wir ein Deluxe Doppelzimmer, da die Standardzimmer ausgebucht waren. Dies Zimmer war deutlich moderner und etwas geräumiger, und es gab zusätzlich einen Wasserkocher für Kaffee und Tee, einen Safe und hatte einen Laminatfußboden. Gewöhnungsbedürftig fanden wir allerdings das Badezimmer. Waschbecken und (Regen-) Dusche waren direkt neben dem Eingang rechst hinter einer halben Glaswand, und die Toilette mit Waschbecken waren links, abgetrennt durch eine Glastür. Das Licht im Badezimmerbereich funktionierte mit einem Bewegungsmelder. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und vielseitig. Bei schönem Wetter konnte man auch im schönen Innenhof frühstücken. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt und alle Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Trotz der kleinen Kritikpunkte: Absolute Weiterempfehlung!

In bester Altstadt Lage unweit des Doms liegt das Hotel mit eigenem Parkplatz. Sehr netter Service sowohl bei An und Abreise! Das geräumige Zimmer war sauber und mit Kühlschrank. Das Bad mit Dusche ebenfalls sehr sauber. Frühstück kann ich bis auf den ordentlichen Espresso nicht bewerten.
