Vivaz Boutique Hotel

The site says it is a Boutique Hotel, but during my stay it was disappointing. Dirty bed linen, they can't provide extra towels, bathroom without amenities... complicated.

I chose the hotel based on the reviews but, despite the hotel's service and staff being sensational, I was disappointed with the structure. Firstly, there is no elevator and the only stairs there are very rickety. Second, the room is SUPER simple and with many defects: the bathroom was rusty, the upper cabinet was swollen and what I thought was worse, the bed cover on the double bed was the same as a single bed but I put it on horizontally (our luck was that the room had another single bed and we took the bed cover so we could each sleep with one). Third, the acoustics of the building are terrible and any noise outside the room sounded like it was inside.

Everyone was very attentive, the breakfast was simple but delicious, the hotel was clean and well located. I had problems with the air and TV remote controls, but they were soon resolved.

The kitchen staff is very friendly and attentive at breakfast. - Employees who stay overnight are outsourced and sometimes don't know how to solve problems that arise.

Reasonable, comfortable accommodation, although I found a little mold on the walls of the room, but something that with a good paint job can be easily resolved. Excellent reception service.

This is the second time I have stayed at the hotel, as it is great value for money. The location is great, the breakfast is good (not many options, but there is tapioca, couscous, eggs, sausage, fruit salad all made to order), and the rooms I stayed in were comfortable. The negative points are that there is no parking and the street is very busy due to restaurants and buildings, making it difficult to park on the street (there is nowhere to stop when you arrive with your bags), however, there is a paid parking lot a little ahead (from verde frut, which costs $25 per night), and the hotel is small, depending on the room you may hear some noise...

The hotel has great value for money! Structurally, there are some problems, but nothing that hindered my stay. The staff are great and attentive!! Breakfast is simple but very delicious and they even make tapioca, eggs and couscous fresh for you!

I stayed for 10 days and it was very peaceful... wonderful breakfast and super comfortable room, Smart TV! I loved everything, especially the receptionist Monteiro and the girl who makes breakfast is adorable! She makes tapioca, eggs, sausage, couscous... Suggestion: change bathroom towels.

Super comfortable, beautiful and close to markets/pharmacy/bakery, 2 blocks from the beach and bars on the coast...credits to the attendant Monteiro, always attentive and very polite, a sweetheart! And also for the woman who makes a wonderful breakfast...very friendly! Rooms are clean and comfortable, quiet place.
