Great beyond imagination.

The room (for when called ”small”) was not very small, we found even worse abroad. The courtesy of the masters and their staff is excellent. The breakfast is very good. The internet connection is quick enough. It is excellent price quality and location (beside Ravenna railway station), which allows you to visit the whole city walking. Beds were the worst. Not so much (and not only) because the mattresses were too hard, but they also felt the mole, but mostly they were at ”ass back”, that is, they were spy on the sides. I risked falling from my bed several times because I was slowly ”moving”. Towards the edge of the mattress. Synd the washing was broken. All this we say in the heart of the heart because the living was overall positive.

Ok, so this isn't a five-star hotel and they don't claim to be. But there is absolutely no reason for me to deduct any points from their grade as they were absolutely perfect for everything I was looking for. You'll have to decide what you're looking for in a hotel and judge accordingly. My reason for coming to Ravenna was to see the incredible UNESCO Byzantine mosaics all over the city and, of course, sample the fine cuisine. The hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the train station. Completely doable even with a heavy suitcase (as long as it's a roller). It's located just off the main Piazza del Popolo, a big gathering place. However, I slept fine and didn't hear any noise. All the sites are within walking distance except for one which is in Classe, a 10-15 minute bus ride. My room was a single and quite tiny, which was of no concern to me since it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The ladies at breakfast were very friendly. The gentlemen at the task were helpful. What more can you ask for? Well, like I said before, you'll need to decide that one for yourself. Tip - The AC takes a while to cool even a small room at high setting but once it does the room gets quite comfortable. It's not loud or anything, it just takes a while to cool the room.

I realize that star ratings are different in Europe but this was not what I would consider a 4- star hotel. The room was beyond small with virtually no end tables given the size of the room. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable which was great. The shower was upgraded but there was absolutely no place to put soap or shampoo which was awkward. It was impossible to to keep the floor dry. That being said the best hair dryer in Italy! Truthfully though staff was very friendly, we will likely not choose this brand of hotel again.

Very close to the revenna train station, easy to travel
Hotel Bisanzio

The hotel has been excellent for its location in the historic center of Ravenna (including the wonderful city), and all staff are very friendly, comfortable and professional. Breakfast, served from 07 to 10 more than satisfactory. The only sin, for the sake of this, is the smooth and old look of the room with so many moquettes that does not help to improve impact and that ”cry” a demand for modernization. The ladies who were cleaning were making the room every day in order and clean.
