Tenuta Cortedomina

I cannot comment on lodging as we did not stay here or eat here. We simply stopped, ordered a bottle of Chianti Classico Reserva to drink while sitting outside in the late afternoon sun overlooking the vineyards. The structure of the building is unique with the ivy covering the brick. It is very clean inside. It is a small acreage and small winery. The wine is quite good. An incredibly relaxing location.

A magical place. We had a beautiful room, and enjoyed our breakfast and dinners whilst looking onto the vineyards. The food was really fantastic. There are loads of different seating areas, and all with fantastic views. Staff - very friendly and welcoming! Wine 10/10! We will be back - hopefully next year!

The CorteDomina property and boutique hotel is everything we could have dreamed for our honeymoon in Tuscany. Arriving after a scenic, 1hr drive from Florence, the family welcome you with warm and authentic Italian hospitality. This charming estate has a vineyard that you can walk the parameter of in the morning (it is hilly). Our suite was very spacious with a large jacuzzi. Bed was definitely more firm than I like.. but drink enough of their delicious local wines, and the bed felt like a cloud. Take advantage of the sauna and outdoor hot tub during your stay! Restaurant was pricey but absolutely worth it for some deliciously authentic food (I’m also a chef). Book your stay, you’ll love it. Thank you to Andrea and the family!

Such a magical place! The owners are really engaged and passioned which makes you as a guest feel very taken care of. The a**osphere is wonderful, high standard on the rooms, great wine and food. I would also recommend the wine tasting while you are here. What can I say, it’s a wonderful place with fantastic service!

Our stay at this property was absolutely perfect. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. The property is stunning and very clean. The wine is very good as well as the free breakfast. We did however chose to do the 75 Euro PP dinner and we didn’t enjoy it at all. Not worth the money in our opinion. We enjoyed the local local restaurants and near by towns for lunch and dinner. We will be back to stay again! Thank you :)

This fabulous winery is welcoming from the minute you arrive. The beautiful decor has obviously been curated with love of the building and the area. The chef is a dream. Everyday a new and wonderful breakfast. Make sure to try the special tasting dinner. One of the highlights of our trip. The owner is a true gem. we loved our stay and are sure to come again!

Lovely area and beautiful property! The sign is hard to see because the writing is very small on it so you can't easily read it as you drive by. It says "Corte Domina" and not "Tenuta Corte Domina", which is what you might be expecting from your booking. We had a nice large room with a high ceiling. They designed it so that the bed was in the middle of the room, and the shower placed behind it. This meant that the bed had no electrical outlets near it, so remember to bring an extension cord with you. Linens were pristine white and comfy, shower was great, views were lovely and peaceful. This is Chianti country and is at slightly higher elevation than elsewhere in Tuscany, so there are more trees, fewer olive orchards. The dining room is beautiful. The breakfast is great! The dinner was confusing. We were only offered an option of a 'tasting menu'. Not told what it would cost. Not told of other options. We experienced a very slow 2.5 hour meal of very tiny but tasty plates, charmingly presented by the hostess but ultimately not satisfying as a meal. More like a bunch of appetizers. For example the 'soup' course was a tablespoon serving. The dessert course was six teaspoon-size dots of pistachio cream and hazelnut cream. This menu cost us 75 euro each. Meanwhile, another table was served a standard primi and secondi course, with full plates, in half the time that we spent. They had access to a menu that we were never offered, and left satisfied. Consider dinner in town!

We loved our stay at Cortedomina and wished we could have stayed longer! The hotel is absolutely charming. A wonderful mix of the old with the new. We stayed in the Whimsical Room and it was just delightful. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. We were up one flight of stairs and there is no elevator. The interior and exterior spaces were fantastic. The views from the property are picture perfect Chianti. I even spent some time relaxing in the common room/living room at the top of the stairs! Nicole could not have been more warm and welcoming. When we brought back sandwiches after a long day, she was happy to set us up outside with plates, utensils, a bottle of wine and glasses. The dinner we had here was one of the best of our entire trip. The chef is for sure a hidden gem. Every course was beautifully prepared and tasted delicious. Our entire stay was a trip highlight!

We stayed for three days and nights at Tenuta CorteDomina. It was a flawless experience, from the moment owner Andrea greeted us upon our arrival to the morning we checked out. The setting, with sweeping views of the Tuscan hills and valleys, was gorgeous. Our room on the second floor was like something out of a movie — spacious, spotless, comfortable, stylishly decorated, full of amenities like double sinks, a soaking tub, and a rainfall shower. The room was always spotless when we returned at the end of the day, and the employees couldn't be more friendly or attentive to our needs. I'd highly recommend the restaurant on-site at CorteDomina as well. The breakfast spread was abundant and delicious all around. Dinner was elevated Italian cuisine of the kind you won't find in nearby towns. It's paired with CorteDomina's own wines — I'd recommend the rosato (rosé) especially. A luxurious experience all around. Can't recommend highly enough.
