Being in the city center, it's very convenient to get around, and close to the InterCity bus and airport shuttle stops. It's also about a 10-minute walk to places for tours like Milford Sound. I'd say the location is excellent! The room itself was very clean, and even though all the beds were occupied, the other guests in the room were quiet, which made it easy to sleep. The building itself also looked very clean from the outside. However, it was a shame that there were no power outlets near the beds, no hairdryer in the bathroom, and the common areas were incredibly dirty – though that might have just been bad luck with the other guests staying at the time. Considering the price, if you can overlook these issues, it's probably worth staying. I'd consider staying here again.

We arrived in Queenstown by car very late. This was the only hotel that answered our call after 10 PM and said check-in was possible at any time. The hotel is right in the center. There are a lot of young people who came to have fun in Queenstown. There are free parking lots near the hotel in the evening and at night. During the day, you can only park there for half an hour. So we had to wake up at 8 AM to move the car to a free parking lot further away.

There weren't enough power outlets for the number of people, and they were placed too high, which was inconvenient as I had to leave my iPhone and Apple Watch on the floor to charge.

This hostel is unfortunately located directly above a bar. Some men were yelling and screaming there until 4 AM. The kitchen was sometimes clean, sometimes dirty. The rooms don't have curtains, and the outlets are far from the beds. Towels are available for $5. I think there are better options out there; I was glad to only be staying for one night.

Great location, nice staff and clean room service. The facilities are quite old, not that solid bed, the sockets are quite away from your bed, the lockers are mini and some of them are broken. But the toilet and bathroom are separate, which is useful in busy time. It is kind of noisy but my ear plugs works. This is not a problem for me. So it could be a good choice if location is important for you.

Beside the hostel there is a pub that's open until dawn, it's hard to sleep without earplugs.

It’s a huge hostel in the prime part of queenstown so it’s a mixed bag on who you’ll be sharing a room with. There isn’t really anywhere to put your things in the room and need your own lock for the small safety cabinets, and sharing 2-4 outlets with everyone in the room, but it’s clean and the bed is fine.

the accomodation is great for solo traveller, affordable private room for your choice

The location is next to a bar / pub that close at 3am from Sunday to Thursday and at 4am on Friday and Saturday, the noise is so loud and clear even I stay on the 3rd floor. Please avoid this place unless you want a night with only 2 hours sleep then need to wake up early to catch the morning flight

Great social hostel and in a prime spot in downtown queenstown. The beds were metal bunks so squeaky and not super comfortable, along with no plugs at the beds themselves. Even with that in mind I highly recommend as the staff are amazing and the people I met there are top tier.

I stayed in a room for 10 people and the room was spacious. The staff were very helpful.
