Himalayas Qingdao Hotel

A really nice and peaceful hotel. A short 20min walk from the metro station. There’s a mall and some convenience stores nearby. The hotel staff are very and helpful. The room is clean. Worth booking for a short trip.

The location of this hotel might be convenient for business travelers, but it’s not ideal for tourists. I found myself having to take taxis everywhere, though fortunately, they’re inexpensive in Qingdao. The rooms are spacious and generally clean, with a comfortable bed, but the bathroom felt a bit outdated. Breakfast was just average, nothing to get excited about. Although the hotel is listed as 5 stars, it felt more like a 4-star experience. All the rooms face the streets, which can be noisy – I had to switch rooms because of this. However, my second room was a bit quieter. The staff were all very kind, especially the cleaning ladies who were always smiling and helpful. Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay, but I probably wouldn’t choose this

This is the worst 5* hotel. I have never seen so many insects and cockroaches as in this hotel. Hotel looks very old, bar doesn’t work. People smoking in the elevator. Still thinking why there is a 5 stars. I will never back to this place.

Check in was quick and efficient. Rooms are heated and well equipped. Breakfast can be improved. Items are not being refill when running low.

This is my fifth stay at this hotel and it never disappoints. The rooms are comfortable (great bed - perfect for the rainy weather) and I particularly like the breakfast buffet. I personally appreciate the service and a special mention to the cleaner and floor manager (秦嘉璐 Jack) for being welcoming, showing me to my room and just simply being polite and hospitable. This is exactly why I keep coming back to this hotel and will continue to come back.

The hotel interior is nice, however, part of the facilities and car garage look pretty worn.

Awesome breakfast, nice room and nice spa. Overall experience were super great
