Value for money is okay. Living on the ground floor will be disturbed by the sound of parting, but the upper floors are not bad. The main reason for staying here is the price. The sheets and bedding are quite clean, and I also need a bicycle.

Was just a overnight stay so we couldn't enjoy the facilities or the food, but what a luvly surprise getting a Studio Apartment than the normal room, found it very spacious luvly nights stay ....staff at checkin warm and friendly as well.

Will definitely be coming back! Friendly staff, great bar down stairs, check in and out was a breeze. 10 out of 10 from us and a highly recommend. We also got a great rate for a Saturday night.

Although very compact, the room was great. Bed was very comfortable with lovely linen and lots of choices for pillows. Shower a nice size and a lovely big window to the outside world but with blockout curtains for a sleep in. The young British lady on reception was exceptional with her knowledge of what to recommend close by.

The location was perfect, especially with the light rail just below the building. We also had an amazing dinner at the bar on our final night - loved the wagyu beef burger and fish n chips. Even though the rooms looked a bit dated, we still had a comfortable stay.

If the female is single .. It is recommended not to live, there is no elevator! I was almost out of gas with two suitcases .. Although the first floor staff helped me move up, can I understand how I feel when I check out ... Well, because I live in the highest building (the third floor) I Feeling extremely cold .. I also turned on mobile heating ... I have a small bar and a small refrigerator..I do n’t have a toothbrush, I have towels, others, I have a TV, but I did n’t turn it on because the first floor is a local ghost restaurant It ’s opposite (the sound insulation is not good enough to hear the traffic on the road). Walk five minutes away from The Star. There is a supermarket behind The Star. The function is not bad. I did n’t brush the toilet .. I cleaned it myself and saw that there are still traces in the toilet (I do n’t know if it ’s piss or urine ...) I did n’t care about it anymore, I put it on the toilet and finished. I've never stepped foot in a room for more than $800 with dark curtains surrounding the room, compared to other hotels with cool sunlight and air conditioning. I didn't get breakfast because the waiter refused when I was travelling with the hotel slippers and because my feet hurt not wearing my clogs. Bad and won't be came back!

Quaint, well priced, clean and cosy in a quiet tree lined street. Fantastic location to the city and Darling Harbour. Staff very helpful and friendly. Pub style accommodation. Loved staying here. I stayed in an ensuite room. It was on the top floor up a number of flights of stairs. I don’t think there is an elevator so you need to be able to climb stairs. There was a double bed, side table, lamp, lounge and single basin. Full length mirror in the room and mirror over hand basin. TV. The room also has windows that can open to let in fresh air. So nice. There’s also a ceiling fan. Not sure about heating or AC, I stayed during winter and was warm enough. 10 minute walk to Darling Harbour, short Uber drive to anywhere in the city, walking would be no problem either. There is on street paid parking, it has a time limit during certain times. Staff helped me out with this too. The restaurant has really great food! I ordered fish for my lunch and it was unbelievable! I was expecting a battere number, then, a whole fresh fish came out with fresh vegetables, so good. Nice little spot to eat outdoors or at the indoor eating area. There’s also a kitchenette for use by visitors with a little sitting area with a view! It has tea, coffee, sugar, milk, microwave, sink, fridge. Wasn’t any cutlery for eating with or stirring/adding sugar though. Despite that, how awesome! Minuses *The bed was a bit hard, but OK for a night. *Bed linen could be updated. *Nearby to a school so if you’re eating your meal outdoors at home time expect to have an audience while you’re eating your meal. *I guess the many stairs if you’re stairs are tricky for you. Wasn’t a negative for me, it just added to the experience.

The hotel is a retrofit of the old-fashioned house. The room is small in size, the facilities are average, the comfort is OK, the semi-self-service, there is a public kitchen, you can cook for yourself. Warm service. The downside is that the phone is not connected.

Great, cheap hotel, right at Darling Harbour. 5 minutes from everywhere. Very helpful, friendly staff. I only stayed one night because that’s all I needed but it is always my ‘go-to’ place in Sydney.
